You mean like Real and Barca?

This has happened since the professional era. The clubs with the most money spend the most on players. Man Utd fans moaning about Chelsea and now City are laughable - NOBODY has spent more than Utd over the years.

QPR have definitely improved their striker force, that's Zamora and Cisse in the building now.

QPR signing Cisse from Lazio. If I wanted to guess the fee based on that comment I'd convert £4M into Euros and then round up to the next 100k.

SIMPLES. Its called Paul Duffen time. They have rolled the dice and banking on promotion in May. God help them if they dont. West Ham will be a train wreck for sure. ARMAGEDDON TIME.

As he's a Leicester fan, I think you'll find he was being sarcastic.

So where does that leave Messrs. Bothroyd - DJ Campbell - Helguson - Mackie ? 2 of them will be allowed to go for sure. In fact SSN reports that Hughes has said that a few squad players can leave. That looks like bye bye time for most of Colins buys now.

As for Cisse, it was his Offside goal against Hull City when playing for Sunderland in PL 2008 that kept the mackems up. I always wonder what would have happened if Newcastle had survived and Sunderland had gone down. ?

This is precisely why AP saying we wouldn't do any business should be premature. They now have Zamora, Helguson, and Bothroyd to play the big man up front, with Cisse and Campbell the other role. I don't see Bothroyd getting many games, especially as they also have an appeal in for Henrique's work permit. Players like that we should be offering game time to, Bothroyd must be one of the players who's been sent a letter about the Olympics and he won't be joining other PL sides.

EDIT: For Tickler, Mackie tends to play left wing, even when it's 442 it tends to be Bothroyd/Helguson/Campbell and ocassionally Smith.

    Cheers Ricardo.

I wonder how many calls ADAM and NICK have been getting the past few days from agents and players especially. ? There stance on doing nothing has to be admirred when many other clubs are sat on the panic button.

I admire the not rushing out to sign anybody.

I'm not keen on them saying they're happy with the squad and ruling business out completely. AP and NB should be sat watching transfers going in, like the QPR ones and working out who it means is available. Reading have taken advantage of Roberts' contract situation coming up at Blackburn. And now they've signed Connolly because having seen them sign Onuoha they knew there was always going to be a good Championship defender dropping out of their 25 man squad. Even offering him a place on the bench is better for the player than not being eligible to play for the rest of the season.

Just realised, QPR also have Macheda on loan. DJ Campbell will be struggling for games as well now if he's going to be 3rd choice behind Cisse and Macheda.

Let's have Campbell and Bothroyd on loan, just tell Bothroyd to stop making Folan look like a master of standing his ground.
