Alwaary is a very interesting runner against Dildar, can't believe they picked him up for just 21,000 gns. Rated 118 at his best on the flat and finished with a rating in the high 90s. Still think Dildar will win it though
That made me chuckle, brickyard. I think for most though it’s a case of prescribed medication and regular GP check ups rather than ‘hospital committal’. Pricewise having his usual effect by the way, people. Menorah shortened across the board.
Didn't see they were both entered tomorrow Sir Barney, I was to spot a decent juvenil out at the weekend so went straight to the Sandown 4YO race. Never thought to look at the "lesser" meetings in the week. Interesting time of your in terms of the Triumph and I suspect we may see some useful animals coming out in the next few weeks. I suspect the Adonis at Kempton will be the top table trial though.
I remember him coming out with Mille Chief for the Champion Hurdle last year and wondering whether he'd lost the plot. Cannot see any genuine reason to have Menorah in front of Al Ferof, on whom I have taken a nice slice of 6/1
Nass, I was hugely surprised by the pick of Menorah. But in fairness to the old boy I think he has had a very, very hard brief this year. In the past few weeks he’s been asked to find value in the CGC, Champion Hurdle, Champion Chase, World Hurdle and Arkle when in the main, in my opinion anyway, at the moment it doesn’t really exist. Oddy, in the past 2 seasons the winner of the Triumph hasn’t run over hurdles in the UK until the Adonis. Maybe the winner of the race again hasn’t even been sighted yet.
Morning all... Hope that were all functioning this side of sanity... A few that i looked at last night and fancied have now started to drift away this morning. So im taking another look at them and may stick with em or just start all over again... No big computer for me to trawl through... Just sharpening them darts...

I do think Segal has had a tough time of it this season. He doesn't appear to genuinely fancy any of his selections. They have been arrived at more by process of elimination and the lack of suitable alternatives. He has been asked to put up 'value' selections against Sprinter Sacre/Peddlers Cross/Al Ferof, Hurricane Fly, Sizing Europe, Big Buck's, Long Run/Kauto Star. That inevitably means that he has to be 'scraping the bottom of the barrel' to try and make an argument for them. I don't think many would argue against most of the above named. He has little choice but to try.
mujamead must be worth a bet in the first at southwell. don't know much about mr m j j smith but he has ridden winners for Mr carroll.
