Well we'd need it to be a 18+ plus point penalty to affect us.

Possibly, though when the same thing happened at West Ham with Tevez/Mascherano they opted for a £5.5m fine, rather than a points deduction(though that was the PL, rather than the FA). They were also forced to pay Sheffield United £25m compensation for gaining an unfair advantage and the DQPR fans are worried the amount would now be higher.

DQPR have now issued a statement to say that they will be pleading not guilty to the charges, though the statement is oddly worded, it doesn't say they believe they've done nothing wrong, it says they don't believe that they've 'knowingly' done anything wrong.

what they mean is "we didn't believe anyone would notice and were thinking we'd get away with it, but since you've noticed we're very very sorry and please can we still play in the PL as Warnock is the best since since sliced bread and Loftus Road will bring crowds of 30,000 each week.."

    let's see..

Too high profile to give anything other than a large fine.

Doubt they'll get points taken off them.

Personally, I would hope for both, twf'y.

A deduction, of say 15 points, to show the severity of their breach of FA regs, backed up with a fine and compensation package in the region of £15 - 20 million.
This would be if found guilty of any wrong doing, and, hopefully, would show to others, the commensurate punishments that will be mete out to others found doing somewhat the same.

The FA are far more likely to issue a points deduction than the PL, traditionally they prefer using point deductions to punish teams, but I suppose it will depend on how much they think DQPR were trying to deceive them.

I could see it either being a meaningless three or five point deduction or a meaningless fine which QPR's owner would be able to pay off with a hour's wage.

I wouldn't worry about what punishment the FA give them, by the time it's been through the disciplinary procedures and appeals it'll be next season. QPR will get promoted this season and if they get a points penalty it'll be next season so it'll just seal the almost inevitable relegation.

If found to be guilty it is hardly likely to be a points deduction, the premier league set a precendent when fining West Ham only, the money Sheffield United got was a seperate case.

I appreciate the league and premeir league are seperate entities but punishment wise they should be similar and I suspect the courts will look at that as an example.

Funny how Warnock has the shoe on the other foot now....bet he will not moan as much as he did when West Ham did exactly the same thing to him at Sheffield United.

Dirty cheating scoundrels, they should have the book thrown at them after the tevez affair. Although I don't quite understand what they've done wrong....

Exactly what I thought, he would go absolutely mental if QPR get points deducted after West Ham didn't.

Some of the DQPR fans are nervous that Warnock will now walk, he's apparently spitting feathers that this deal was done.

Couldn't happen to a nicer club. Knock 20 off and leave them struggling to make the play offs, I'd love it!

It would be very funny, no hilarious, if they got a deduction big enough to drop them into the play offs, only to then loose. Preferably to us!
