If we're being serious, Schmeichel, O'Brien, Connolly, Howson, Gradel, Becchio and Somma are all top Championship players. You do realize yokels are people from the countryside? And Leeds is one of the biggest cities in the country? I mean, if we are going to play the inbred/country bumpkin card, Hull would be far more suitable targets. To be honest, I'm not sure why Leeds fans are nuking your board so much (not that I don't find it amusing!) I don't really mind Hull just like the other small clubs in Yorkshire, the more successful Yorkshire clubs are, the happier I am generally. Beats having those ****s from Lancashire populating the Footall League's top divisions. Plus means we have more feeder clubs to nick players off.

Schmeichel was definitely their best player when they came to the KC last month. He looks like a chip off the old block.
Kasper* is a very good player, when you have our reputation you could attract that calibre of player. You can onnly dream instead you go to the team with the worst squad of keepers in the prem and loan their 4th choice. Wiseee! Im sure one of you lot said you had a good scout in a Lecisester reject

I'm pretty glad to be honest. First and foremost becuase I think the whole idea of replica shirts on adults looks tacky, naff and commercial. Secondly because it shows what a fantastic city Leeds is that it attracts so many people from across the country to work here. In a couple of generations' time, those families will have integrated into Leeds and, as we lose a lot of our out of town Revie days supporters, a new breed of Leeds-based fans will replace them. We could do better, I agree, but I've listed my arguments in other places and can't be arsed dragging them up again here. Luckily in spite of Bates we have one of the best young managers around. That is the only reason we have been successful over the last couple of years (though to be fair our previous managerial/scouting team made some good signings), and the courage shown by clubs like Blackpool who also received minimal investment but still got results in the Premiership gives me hope. There's also the fact that Leeds United are a huge draw and many players in lesser Premiership teams and beyond would be honoured to play for us if we made the right offer. We have an advantage over clubs like Hull, Blackburn, Wigan, Stoke and Wolves in that respect. I'll ignore the bullshit, except for the "bung induced" bit. I'd like to see some evidence for that please. Dog **** doesn't score ten goals and get a call up to England U21s. Admittedly he is overrated by Leeds fans and still has some way to go, but players like Taarabt and Sinclair are far more overrated than him. In conclusion: the OP is right. The playoffs do feel good. And I am getting a sneaking suspicion that over the next couple of months, things could be getting even better.
