I was listening to Talksport the other night. Referee Jeff Winter was a guest on the Goldstein And Cundy show, and shirt removal during a goal celebration was been discussed. I was amazed when Jeffrey Boy explained that the removal of ones shirt is illegal, due to the 'Offence' it will cause to muslims whom are annoyed by the site of a naked torso. What has our game become? If muslims are offended by celebrating footballers, why can't they just switch off and stick to Kabaddi. Why should we appease religious fanatics by implementing a law that goes AGAINST the spirit of 'Our' game. I suppose the Middle East offers a major prize in the form of lucrative sponsorship, a prize too luxurious for Sepp Blatter to turn down.
