    Well, I am not going to get involved in these fishy puns. I really have heard them all. I am just going to curl up with a good book. I can't decide whether I should choose "look back in angler" or "An inspector trawls". Which do youmthink would be best?

    Those puns were some stinkers, you could say that they smelt. You're right about Pompey's future though, it's certainly looking bleak now.

    In all seriousness I hope the club survives in what ever form and wish all of the fans the best. I just can't help but remember how close we were. Trying really hard to not use a fishy pun so all the best.

    Now I have no wish for Pompey to go down the pan, but another advance of Parachute payments would be outrageous. Could effectively allow the club to survive long enough to get a buyer and for them to avoid a points penalty. This would not be fair on the other clubs trying to avoid relegation, nor on those clubs who have already suffered for their club's poor running.

    Brilliant CF! But fritters contain mushed peas, not fish, so it has to go to the Prawn broker effort. Which was Saintlyhero so kudos to you SH.
