The 'defence' of Heysel is simple (for Liverpool fans), both sets of fans were equally to blame but UEFA only punished one nation and even though they themselves (UEFA) were repeatedly told that the stadium was unsuitable for any major match, they still went ahead and provided fewer coppers than they did for any final over the previous decade.

As usual anyone putting forward an argument that doesn't suit the GC is shot down. It's not like he is putting forward any facts or anything stupid like that. There was a lot that went on that day that was down to Liverpool fans, there were also a lot of circumstances that had nothing to do with Liverpool fans. I'm sure this thread will continue to just attack Liverpool fans and ignore any other talking points.
