Proud - and on your last paragraph -so the Hull fans are alone in taking exception to some of AKCJ's comments and posts on an opposition board? I've been pleased to witness a bit of a change in AKCJ since he became a mod - he seems less prone to knee jerk and to tit-for-tat reaction - for which I commend him.
Viking Erik pissed alot of people off on here. We didnt go on a crusade against him. He was a problem, got banned and was no longer a problem. Same for AKCJs on their side. We brought a few players and got carried away. The media had us and West Ham up already and we all thought we would have a very good chance of top 2 Nothing wrong with a bit of optimism but he may of upset a few people along the way. Do he deserve a crusade against him for that?

Hmmm ...I'd love to see your definition of 'arrogance' - in your earlier post you admitted that you had reacted to unacceptable comments previously and that you had a 'decent recent history' - is that an admission that in your not so recent history you feel you might have crossed the line? - or am I being arrogant for interpreting your comments literally? I intend to get on with Proud and AKCJs and work with them to do my best for the good of our board and those fans of the club I have supported all my life - if that means telling a few home truth's every now and then I'll do it - but I'll be fair and even handed and if I have to ban persistent offenders I'm more than prepared to do so. I didn't strive to become a mod or put myself forward to do it - I was asked to take it on, which I agreed to do - I'm not on anybody's side - but there is a delicious irony in your post which I can't help but smile about, despite the personal intent - ii is this -what you now feel you have in me is apparently what other boards felt we already had and partly why I was approached.... such is life eh?
Seems to me you have a predetermined agenda to antagonise as many Leicester fans as possible including existing moderators - boards absolutely gone to pot now even the moderators are championing those that post comments about having sex with our dead mothers while hell bent on admonishing Leicester fans on their own posting history - Stick your board you sanctimonious pratt - How dare you pontificate on us - I don't know if you think you're something special, but from your start you haven't improved this board
Couldn't agree more on the optimism point - and I'd defend his right to be bullish about his own team's prospects - but some of the threads then deteriorated into petulant name calling and for me that's where a mod needs to step in - not necessarily to ban but to calm thing down.

How you can interpret any of my comments as championing or advocating necrophilia is absurd and makes you look foolish - and why you consider anything I''ve said as 'disloyal' to my club or fans is again baffling - it is certainly not my board, or yours, for that matter, and given that it is intangible it would be difficult to stick it anywhere - I suspect from your comments that 'improving the board' in your view would be to ban every WUM from a rival club that posts on ours whilst celebrating the fabulous wit and ingenuity of those of ours that do the same on the opposition boards.... in my view their is a balance to be struck For the sake of clarity I'll make it clear - I don't like censorship - but some things do go beyond what is acceptable and where they occur action needs to be taken - but I'm not even against WUMMING in its entirety, if it is at least done with a little wit - now that should appeal to you given that you appear to have the appropriate qualifications.
As a gesture of goodwill, at the request of FosseFilberto, I've been asked to lift the ban on I used to be John Fallen from the Hull City board. As it was a reasonable request and in the interests of moving things forward, I have agreed and his ban has now been lifted.
Fossefilberto I don't suppose for a minute you've actually checked my history whilst taking your position as the great pontificator - however I'm sure you'll do so now and cherry pick your way through to serve your point whilst ignoring the contributions I've made to not 606 - if you do check I think you'll be surprised at how few none cross thread posts of mine you'll find on the hull board - But hey never mind letting the truth stopping you from posting opinions about Leicester posters
I have taken note of this "gesture"as a consequence I shall post again on not 606,I have no intention of posting on the hull forum again,but this was a point of principle for me.I hope we have all learned something from this.. all we can hope for now is that those wonderful football clubs coventry city and nottingham forest can somehow find a way through their terrible travails .....its too painful to witness...ps. Ive been going to night college , almost fluent in BS and insincerity.
IUTBJF - I asked the Hull mods to review your case on the back of your comments that you had never actually been abusive etc - I'm grateful that they did and that they have responded positively. Let's get one thing clear - I want you to be able to post on the Hull board (if you so wish and have a point to make) - there are a lot of shared factors and indeed rivalry between our two clubs now - but we need to keep that rivalry healthy in the context of this forum - it is quite possible that both clubs could be in the play-offs, perhaps even contest the final (as a few posters from both sides have suggested) - and that will certainly raise temperatures should it happen.
Danger - I was aware of your history and have also received posts from the other Leicester mods complimenting your past postings etc -however you have 3 posts 4 posts now on this thread that commence with calling me (to paraphrase) a 'pontificating arrogant prick' follow with an accusation of me advocating necrophilia and lastly of prejudging people - can you not see the irony in that? - I'd been in 'the job' as a mod for less than a day before you had jumped to conclusions about me as a person (and my apparent 'anti-Leicester agenda / bias) as you see it.. My origins are quite humble - I was brought up in the Saffron Lane and have supported 'the City' for more years than many of the posters on here have probably been alive - I don't feel I'm 'better' than anyone but the one undeniable qualification I do have is a lifetime of supporting a club through thick and thin and the questionable 'wisdom' gained from that .. if nothing else it has given me some perspective.
