Not from the start, maybe from the bench. SGs been saying the week of training he missed due to sorting his visa out has messed up his fitness preperation

Ah okay, hopefully he get a bit of game time. I'm more hopeful about this signing than either Nunez or Grella because he's got a decent amount of caps for the USA (who are okay) and seemed to have pace from the clips I've seen.

See im not as hopeful about the signing. not because i dont rate him (i dont know anything about him tbh), but because i can see him being a replacement for snoddy :(

I don't know about that, surely 4 wingers is the standard?

yea they can all 'play' wide but there are only 4 wingers there and 1 of those wingers is a loanee

I agree with Josh on this one. Pugh isn't a winger, can't play on the wing. He's just not attacking enough, he's more of a gritty player suited better to the central midfield where he does a job for us. Don't know how many times I'll say this, but Nunez. Is. Not. Good. Enough. And that's in his natural attacking mid position, on the wing he's just awful. White can't do the wing, he's just too tunnel visioned, takes on too many players and he's not that good at taking on players. So yes, we only have 4 wingers, and one is a loanee.

On the subject of wingers, what do you all think of Sam? I saw him when we last played Millwall and thought he played fantastic. He looked really lively and created loads of opportunities, as well as nearly bagging a goal for himself. I know he is prone to losing the ball quite a bit but I'd love to see him given more chances in the first team. Only problem is he plays his best when he's on the right wing and he obviously won't be chosen over Snodgrass, unless Snoddgrass was moved to the left wing, which was what happened in the Millwall game in the second half and we absolutely tore them apart. Thoughts?

Millwall are an easy team to 'tear apart'

However, i have always thought Sam looked lively and never understood why he has been so far down the pecking order especially compared to nunez

True, Nunez is ****e. Looked promising at first but hasn't lived up to expectations unfortunately.

Considering how good Sam was last season before his injuries I'm completely baffled as to why he is always overlooked.

I think Sam is just a classic winger, he'll have days where he rips defences to shreds but most of the time doesn't do much. Worth hanging on to IMO but nothing special.

Leeds United have included Robbie Rogers in their squad for the first time tonight for their vital npower Championship clash at home to Birmingham tomorrow night. However, the American international, who has been signed from Major League Soccer side Columbus Crew, may have to wait for his debut. United boss Simon Grayson said: “Robbie was in America last week sorting his visa so he didn’t train with us until the back end of the week. “He’s been working over the weekend but tonight might just come too soon for him after the week he’s had.” Grayson will only be missing long-term injury victims Davide Somma and Patrick Kisnorbo for tomorrow's clash of play-off hopefuls. As for deadline-day signings, Grayson said: “It may be that we add to the squad before the game but, due to the signing deadline, any new players wouldn’t be available anyway.”

At least we are creating them, it is when we don't create them you need to worry. Anyway, only been playing 15 minutes wait till the half hour and it will be time for them to go down to ten men ;)
