Im going to have a massive overhaul, going to get rid of most of the back up players as they won't be upto the job, get rid of a few first teamers, try and keep hold of the main ones./
Soton have just got relegated from the Premiership to the Championship so I am after Lallana, offer accepted of no fee upfront, but 6 Million spread, that is 4 million over 12 months and 2 on add ons.
Going off now, I have just signed Robbie Keane on a free, ready for pre season to start in a few days.
On to the first of July now, one month to the start about, so pre season to start, will be on later to continue with the overhaul. I have 30 Million to spend so any ideas will come in handy, striker and right mid, left back and right back and one centre back, done Goalkeeper and Left mid.
Okay, Hoadie, look. It's good you're excited and if not for sharing FM stories this thread has little use, but I think I speak on behalf of most people when I say there's such a thing as too many updates. I'm not going to go back and count but I can tell you of the last 10 posts in here, 9 of them are you. Please stop updating us on every minor thing that happens in your game because you flood the entire thread. Big things that happen, interesting things, by all means tell us because it's stuff that actually INTERESTS us. Enthusiasm is good but you have gone way, way too far. I asked On The Bus a question a little while back and I'd be very surprised if he sees it because I doubt anybody sifts through all your posts to find the last time they were in here. Enjoy the game, play it often. Whenever something BIG happens, post it in here. Not every result. Not every transfer. DEFINITELY not "Will be on later". Just... chill pill, please.
How the **** do you have 30m? I won promotion with Saints and got less then that. You've clearly given yourself a sugar daddy because all of your signings so far have been unrealistic. I use farenheit. Eventually found your post in amongst Hoadies ramblings.
Sorry, won't post as much, know there is too many posts, when posting I will just post main things and also update existing posts. And on the bus, what is sugar daddy, never even heard of it before, what does it do and is it good. I am sorry for annoying anyone and I know I can be a bit OTT sometimes so I will make sure I don't post as much. In regards to the £30m I still had £12m left from last season and getting second place I received a good amount from Scally so it is all great.
Your transfer budget doesn't carry over from season to season. I might start a save with Gillingham, sounds like a piece of piss though being able to buy Jay Rodriguez, Sordell, Chalobah etc. See if Scally gives me £30m upon promotion to the prem
Well just to break up the Gillingham updates, I finished 14th in my first season up. Had a crap finish, 4 points from last 10 games but no sack . Got £21m to spend and already tied up Connor Wickham for £2.4m.
Transfer budget doesn't carry from season to season but if you don't spend money, they have more to give you. I'm in that horrible situation of needing to improve to break out of the upper-mid table, but not having any players wanting to join me who are better than what I have. Looks like I've gotta do the Wenger and go kidnapping.
Yeah I know it don't carry over they just spread a bit into the wage budget and some into transfer budget, And on the bus, it is not easy, the last month has been a ride and a half, my biggest challenge, you have to spend nothing in the first season, only fees I done were future fees, then at the end of the season get the players who don't sign contracts at their clubs, sell all your best players when you go up you have a few million maybe about 6, then do well that season, sell your best players, it is hard to keep the morale up as players and fans get a bit annoyed but you have to do it. In regards to my 30 million budget I have just sold my number 1 keeper Ben Amos to Bolton who just got relegated from the Premiership for 3 million with a fee rising to 5 million if they go up a extra million and 1 more if he plays 30 games, so it is hard to keep good players. I hate cheats so why would I cheat, what would be the point of playing it. Also I have sold Sordell for 1 Million so that adds to the kitty, I have a 100% transfer revenue use so when I sell someone I have all the money. Finances say an investment of 7.7 million by shareholders as there is one other one who took over last season from Kent but Scally is still there. I don't have to prove anything really, I have worked hard and it is all about trying to spend nothing each season till you need the money. Thought 30 was a lot, Scally gave me my options to start the season for surviving relegation I will only be getting a budget of 10 Million, he has taken away a lot of it. So now that is going to be real hard, I sell a lot of good players and make 20 Million from that and all I get is 10 Mill for a Premiership season.
I have just finished my work in the transfer window, It is not going good, bottom, no points in 3 games. I managed to get Scott Parker, Robbie Keane and Canales, The first two were on frees and Canales on loan from Spurs. Updated 4 games no points I spent 4 million in upfront fees, I managed to get Sturridge on loan for the season from Aston Villa as he is 4th choice. I got Hobbs from Hull, Bartley from Arsenal for free but future fees on both of them upto 8 million. I got a regen striker, and a few young ones from Barcelona who were free with future fees, I got Jason Steele for free with future fees upto 3 million. Finally my other main signing was Schmichael for 4 million. Lallana was on a free as he was near the end of his contract so I just gave a future fee deal to make sure that other clubs did not get him, Obertan was on a free with future fees for apps, 1 million I think Lua Lua was a free but I have to pay upto 2 million in future fees. My right back is Nyom who I got for 1 Million upfront with it rising to 3 Million. There were a few others but I sold many making 12 Million.
So so happy, not only did we score our first goal, we did not concede therefore we win, but it is the score that is great, Sunderland have a good side on there and they got trashed I think it was the injured players they missed as Gyan and Dong were injured. Also their number 1 keeper was injured aswell as Bramble. I also made a few changes, swapped the formation and it worked. Only just won my second game, 2-0 against Hull, they are the only 2 games out of 7 I have scored in, goals are hard to come by, I have just rose out the relegation zone. I have just asked the board if they will build a new ground and they said yes, which is good as mine has been expanded to its max of 12,500, the new ground will be ready in 3 years though which is bad, but it will hold 26,500 and is 41 million pounds, 3 million funded by the sale of my ground and 16m from the ground sponsor, I am just happy with the new ground being built, will be good once it is done.
I can never win in the 5-6-7's! Is there a particular tactic, or just a straight up great frontline?! I have just started with Eastleigh, and my biggest win has been 4-1! You seem to know your stuff, can you help?
Its all about how you place the midfield, I am very attacking, it takes a long time to craft, it is much harder for me now in the Premiership though. I won 1-2 at Norwich and then played Liverpool away was 2-0 down and drew 2-2, amazing against such a side like Liverpool.
I am well happy, I lost against Arsenal after leading, but I am mainly happy that the goals are now coming and we are defending better. But I am now happy as yet again I have won a game against a team near me, 4 wins in 11 which is ok when you are a team struggling. My regen striker who is 18 is top scorer for me, he is great, what a star he will be.
I know I've already asked a while back if there will be an update, and someone said yes, but does anyone have any rough idea as to when a patch will be out, updating the sqauds from the january transfer window if there is one at all? Just because I see little point in buying thr game till it is out
