Holt is lucky that he plays in the premier league as it's a more physical league.He wouldn't be able to kick lumps out of people in international football like he does in England.He,like Lambert will never ever play for England.

 

We'll probably take five forwards for England, won't we? Of that selection, we'll want to mix it up a bit. On performances this season, Holt has put himself in the mix.

how is he joking? pundits, journalists and fans of other clubs are ALL suggesting holt is given a go for england in a friendly this season to see if he can cut it. he has impressed just about everybody this season, including all norwich fans, some of which, myself included, were unsure whether he would be able to perform at this level. he is arguably our best player which tells a lot when you consider how far he's come in the last two years

just had a quick check of the old stats...

lambert averages a goal every 1.85 games for saints across league one, championship and the cups.

holt averages a goal every 1.82 games for city across league one, championship, premier league and cups

interesting

oh, and he doesn't take all the penalties

 

Shall we just end this now then. Its proven beyond reasonable doubt Holt's goalscoring record is superior, plus we haven't even mentioned assists.

 

I'd take Lambert over Holt.
