    Updated first post. Very quiet window overall. We've brought in 3 players. Only Leeds and Blackpool have signed 4. Will have to see if it hots up in the next 24 hours. Be surprised if clubs leave it til last minute with a load of fixtures tomorrow night.

    Gutted about Vokes :(

    Everton are after Jelavic from Rangers. Be VERY surprised if they could afford Doyle.

    now that is a shock ? but at least there are airports close to his home and saints ground. at least Hull City wont have to face him tuesday night then ?

    are Saints about to sell Lambert now then ?

    i think Saints have been stung into action after last weeks poor home defeat to Lesta and there recent displays overall. Its an interesting development thats for sure.

    that maybe so re.Sharp. But Saints on field performances of late have been dire - capped by last monday.. They are slipping and Adkins has to act now before its to late for them.

    They've been on a poor run, but they're still second in the league and are about to complete the signing of a very good striker, they'll still finish top six.

    nothing is certain, But if they dont questions will be asked come may.

    one positive for Mr Positive if he signs is that Sharp is not cup-tied so he can play in the FA Cup.

    If it was anyone else, I'd maybe agree. They were prepared to pay the money for sharp in the summer though so they haven't suddenly panicked. it's just that he wasn't prepared to go until now for whatever reason.

    I think you suggested he might fancy a change of scenery after his troubles. Maybe that's what has happened.

    Indeed. Its a nice area to live and Saints are a better option than Lesta thats for sure in more ways than one. Plus he knows Adkins from the past.

    Not rival deals but maybe of interest. Bournemouth have had a bid accepted for Matt Tubbs. John Bostock has gone to the Wendies on loan.

    Well the Cherries are Only 5 points off the play offs and a 5th round cup game with Stoke City is not much of a keep me at the club is it ? Lol.
