Alan Smith has been linked to MKD whose chairman will pay partof his 60k a week wages so that puts and end to speculation for a while
I wouldn't say manure was a mistake for his career, i'd say getting in the way of a john arne risse shot was the biggest mistake he has ever made, actually still surprised how more damage wasn't caused
Utter bollox player, little or no skill and god only knows why anyone liked him. The Smith lovers will be very upset, especially the same one who posts on every forum that he has just signed for Leeds (your ip address is always the same). For me, it's time to:
I would have been happy to see Smithy back if he was good enough, but he's not the kind of player we need at the moment so I wish him the best of luck at MK Dons.
Well well he,s signed for MKD FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON it would appear that we were outmuscled by them what are we becoming under our leader who appears as inept as the captain of the cruise liner!
No proof we wanted him this time around! If he becomes fit and can play the rest of the season without a niggle, then i can bet we go after him. But ive had enough of this homegrown local lad bollocks now! Theres plenty of players out there that can do just as good a job than that cu-nteared
Oh dear, Grayson still fancies him .... http://www.leedsunited.com/news/20120130/boss-to-monitor-smith-progress_2247585_2593373
Smith was a cult hero at ER, and if it wasn't for Ridsdale's stupidity he would still be in a White shirt along with Paul Robinson, James Milner, Aaron Lennon etc. Manure were only club to put money on the table when there was panic selling, and for me the lad did a great thing when he handed his £1m signing fee back to Leeds United. So he went to the Scum, but remember Leeds wanted cash desperately and they were the only club making an offer, so stop kicking him in the nuts. Yes, I was absolutely sick that he signed for them, but pleased that he at least showed his love for the club a million times over. For me he is a gent, and his horrific injury robbed him of a better career. Hope he has a good run at Dons and finds some enjoyment from the game in his twilight years. Good luck Smudger, your blood will always be White!!
Can't disagree with your sentiments. Keyword in your post for me though is 'was'. He was good. Very good. That was a loooong time ago, sadly, and I honestly feel he's too old, too slow, and too expensive for us. It would be a step back.
I'll disagree with the sentiments then. He said scum was his preferred destination. He therefore went there of his own volition, and that's unforgivable. Grayson can **** off for saying that we're watching the progress of this washed-up dirty Judas scum ****.
Oh we are watching him alright. He is free in the summer & Bates has probably said we can have him then if you can talk his wages down. Not that I want him.
