Did you see AVB's comments over the weekend?

Basically stated that this deal is part of the clubs policy, and nothing to do with him but he will work with it in order to do the best for the club.

    Oh dear.

It was a strange comment by AVB for sure.

KdeB looks a decent prospect at a decent price to me.

Smart business but not the signing that will turn our season round (especially with him staying in Belgium).

Gone all quiet on Willian, Lucas and Hazard but I suspect they will be our priority targets in the summer.

Apparently he's being loaned out for the rest of this season AND the whole of next <yikes>.

How are we not replacing Nico?!?!

Hadn't heard it included next year too. Now that I do find extremely odd.

Haven't heard that. I'd have thought he would be a replacement for Kalou or Malouda for next year.

As for Anelka / Drogba, I'm sure we'll be looking a some big names in the summer.

We have to blood Lukaka properly, he needs to start or he will be an eternal prospect. Yes he'll be poor at times. The only one coming in from abroad and hit the ground running that I can recall was Zola, but he was/is special.

I think Lukaku would benefit from a premiership loan but even if he stays we had Lukaku, Torres, Anelka, Studge and Drogba as our forwards at the start of the season. Anelka's already gone and Drogba off in the summer. One at least will need replacement.
