Always keep an eye on Mark Brisbourne's runners in Apprentice/Amateur races as he tends to do well in this sort of races (sorry no stats), so today I will be having a bet on his two runners TAKAJAN and ITSTHURSDAYALREADY both around the 7/1 mark

Lol Barney.

I like Seedsman at 13/2 each way in the 2.10

Decent bumper form and a fair enough run against Heather Royal last time out.

Morning All

I'm going to wait until the nightcap at Plumpton and get on the Emma Lavelle Tidal Dance.
Second round here in December in what was possibly an above average bumper for the track, I don't see this race as having any world beaters in it and although Pipe sends his Bamboleo here (and will probably be fav) I'm not sure the form of his Doncaster debut is that great.
At around 7/2 I might even take the insurance of each way...

Nassau, that leaving line was the old wind up slogan that myself and Triptych (crickey, wonder what happened to him) used to use in the old days of 6-0-6 and RHH (crickey, wonder what happened to that). Don’t tell me that you fell for it again?!?

By the way talking of 6-0-6 the BBC have started to reinstate old messageboards. Are they having a rethink?!?

Meanwhile, how awesome did Rocky Creek look at Doncaster on Saturday?!? 2014 CGC winner in my opinion. Wonder if they will take in the Albert Bartlett this term???

Pricewise is turning his eye to the 'Arkle' tomorrow. Going to be very difficult for the old boy to find anything against Mr Henderson's Sprinter Sacre. Maybe he will go against his regular policy and urge everyone to lump on at 5/2.

The Fly............by a country mile made the whole field look very very average, i recall a poster on Refugees whos name eludes me at the moment winning a small packet on Hurricane Fly and bigging him up big style.

One thing is for sure he looked the real deal on Sunday, but where does he go after Cheltenahm this year?

By the way VITZNAU is only 8/1, you called him at 20/1 last night..........hmmmm me thinks your pulling the wool over peoples eyes ;-)

Going to be tough for a lot of non all-weather meetings to survive for the rest of the week after today. My mole at the Met (Office not rolitan Police) advises that it is going to get very, very cold from this evening onwards. Temperatures will get down to as low as -7.

If the inclement weathers closes in as predicted, it could sit over the UK for a number of weeks, theres an unusually large hight pressure building from Siberia and looks likely to win the battle of the fronts and push the warm front back across the Atlantic.

That said there are plenty of AW kings about here to provide a hatfull winners, but could seriously jeapordise the Cheltneham Festival and its preparations.
