Maybe it's something I ate but i'm actually reasonably well disposed to the fat one at the moment. If you look around us a great deal of prem teams are having the odd money worry or two. Take the unwashed, flying high and talking about all sorts of crazy league positions (5-1, had to slip it in there). But they flog there talisman ( I know we did too) and we hear all sorts about them having to reign it in and balance the books etc. granted we aint exactly barca but we're stable in financial terms. What I will never be onboard with is the way cashley runs us like he would one of his shops, profit is the be all and end all, no football club will ever be a top club if run like that. You have to love the club and want the be all and end all to be it's success. But i'll take also-rans in the best league in the world for now and as always, hope that the current crop of players keep turning up week in week out and play with pride and the shirt, and i'll look at pompey, leeds and southampton e.t.c and count my blessings.......for now
I've had to do that before and it ****ing sucks. Had to write two names from a list of ten that I wanted to keep and hand it to the director. Ended up in grown men and lasses crying. Proper ****ty day that was, just before xmas about three years ago :-(
