Ive taken the day off work tomorrow. I couldn't handle seeing a "Newcastle accept bid for ba/tiote/colo etc" at work pooping up on skysports website. At least I can cry when I am in the house!!

Seriously the forum is totally dead today. i'm considering trying to find another one just to have a bit crack. there appears to be a lot of people viewing articles without commenting.

Hell i'd even welcome some of the unwashed over here just to have somebody to have a bit of banter with...

Nothing to comment on at the moment. Every single club is quiet not just ours.

well for the sake of conversation who do you think has made the best acquisition of the window so far and who do you see taking that mantle by the close of play?

so far you'd have to say that Cisse has to be the biggest headliner so far.

Cisse is the best. Although Cahill will be a very good signing and is just what Chelsea needed. Iago Falque looks a good signing by Tottenham and should perform well in the Championship. Kevin De Bruyne will also be a good signing if Chelsea complete it and then after that I can't see who will sign anyone, but you never know things may start hotting up!

You can always go over there if you're desperate for a bit of banter. Chappaz and 5 Goals aren't exactly welcome when they visit though.

I expect QPR to be busy over the next 36hrs, Onuoha is a good signing and I expect they will bring in another 3

I can't believe they got him for about £2.5m supposedly and we're allegedly throwing that at this mariappa character. we've totally missed a trick not trying to get him in IMO

I don't think we should get Kaka, it's Messi or nothing for me.

    Messi+£15mil in exchange for Shola!

That's only in fear of what Shola would do to you if you touched one of his hats!

I can see QPR being busy over the next 36 hours as Mark Hughes has to bring in additional quality or QPR could drop like a stone.

Sunderland will sign Davies; failing that a late bid for Heskey.

Man Utd won't bring in anyone as SAF has already stated that he's not happy buying in this window as you don't get real value.

Man City to offload Tevez on loan.

Chelsea to maybe bring in one player.

Looking at the bottom half of the table; you'd expect a few more signings to avoid relegation but it's just not happening.

This has been the dullest window I can recall for a hell of a long time.

I agree, Onuoha would have been an excellent addition to our squad!!. Looks like Mariappa might end up at Arsenal.
