Had I known the season was going to pan out as brilliantly (so far) as this one has, I would have got married/moved to Peckham/gone shopping in IKEA, to give myself things to moan about. As it stands I'll have to make do with nit-picking all the poor points of the season so far. I invite you all to do the same, list five things which have bit into your Charlton related happiness this season. For my, its; -Bradley Wright-Phillips bad luck in front of goal in the past handful of games. -The departure of Robbie Elliott to Pardew's Newcastle. -Our very own Stone-Island 'ard nuts, giving our club a bad name. -Having to watch Megson's dirty brand of football twice against us this season (with the subsequent moaning from him...see also Uwe Rosler) -The sapped-morale of players like Waggy and Hayes.
I would like to add the unimaginative substitution policy, Greeny must be getting right hacked off. In Chris I trust but could we have just one tactical substitution before the 75th minute please?
I live in peckham(well, for the next few weeks) and it is nothing to complain about! Where else can you get a hair cut and a whole cooked chicken at 3am?
The lack of chances for the youngsters (Harriot mainly), partly due to the stupid 5-sub rule. Eliott leaving The fact that Chris Solly hasn't scored yet
Ephraim playing ahead of Evina Russell playing ahead of Hughes Clarke playing ahead of Hayes Haynes playing ahead of Waggy............er, that's it.
The fact that some (only some) of the new players have less passion than skill The mindless idiots who stole the headlines for the wrong reasons The fact that the Adams family song still gets sung even when most of the north upper are embarrassed by it That nobody has found a good song for kermorgant
