Have a better 2nd half of the season compared to the first?

Bar probably Everton, it's an extremely rare spectacle, especially for us. However, there are certain factors now which may mean that we perform better in the remaining games this season compared to our great unbeaten run before Saylor got injured.

    1). Ba AND Cisse

We're going to go from currently having one of the worst strike forces in the Premiership (the Best and Ameobi combo) to possibly one of the best strike forces once Ba and Cisse come back. We all know how good Ba is, and Cisse looks like a great quality player. There's a reason why we spent £10million on the guy. The other added bonus is that they could form a fantastic partnership and actually end up being a greater sum of their individual parts. Let's hope so.

    2). Ben Arfa

Amazingly, we had a lot of our earlier unbeaten run with Obertan in the fray. Now we have Ben Arfa, who is obviously much better and seems to be gradually improving his all-round game.

    3). Santon

Santon has been looking shaky lately, but he's obviously a lot better than Ryan Taylor, who was part of the defence which did so well in the first half of the season. We have lost Saylor which is a massive loss, but with Santon now in and Williamson looking decent enough, we should be able to maintain a good defensive record and out-do our current attacking record to grab more points in the remaining games.

I obviously don't expect another massive unbeaten run, but I do expect more potential draws to turn into wins with the added firepower we've got.

    One reason against...

Saylor. Head and shoulders above Williamson I'm afraid. Much quicker and far more mobile, even covers Simmo at RB sometimes, positionally excellent. He's captain material if he can stay fit.

we need top 6 for europe, dont care what happens and who does what aslong as we are in europe next year.

very valid points one and all though.

we will either destroy everyone or drop off and finish 10th

4 major changes to the starting XI, we're better overall now.

    Saylor > Williamson
    Raylor < Santon
    Obertan < Ben Arfa
    Best/Shola < Cisse

    No I did not.

"Saylor > Williamson" means Saylor is better than Williamson.

How many games did we go unbeaten at the start of the season though? 10? 11? I can't see that happening again, we were fortunate to go all those games without any of our key players picking up injuries.
