Not sure if I'm ready to trust you after you made up all that crap about the Finnish defender, mate.

I still think it would be harsh, to me it looked like his leg was falling down as he was landing.

As far as I'm concerned, if it's proven that he did it, he deserves everything he gets. It's the only way he'll learn that it isn't acceptable. I hate seeing that in football, especially from a player that I respect.

El-abad is a prat, he fouled Cabaye, it was something of nothing and he went down holding his face. It's embarrassing that people are comparing it to Balotelli that a lot worse and more intelligent.

Agreed. He didn't mean to get him in the face obviously, he wasn't looking - BUT he clearly meant to lash out in retaliation with his foot. Shouldn't be allowed and I wouldn't be pleased to see somebody get away with it. I hope for our sake he does but at the same time this isn't the first time we've seen him lose his rag and if he doesn't get put in his place soon it could escalate.

I think since the ref saw it they cant do anything, he and the linesman discussed it.

He went down holding his face because he got kicked in it and it cut him. I don't think anyone can defend Cabaye here just hope that the FA don't take action and that the ref saw it in the game

Looks like he kicked out deliberately, you see petulant kicks like that all the time though. It was nothing like Balotelli's and certainly wasn't as bad as Lescott and Crouch. Notice how the English players get away with everything, and they have the nerve to preach about racism.

There is no way he did it on purpose, he's not that type of player, that guy had been kicking him all game, and look at that tackle where the guy clearly tried to break his legs.

He's shown this side to his game a few times this season. He seems a bit petulant and immature in that sense, which contrasts to him off the pitch where he seems an intelligent bloke.

If Cabaye is banned then why HAVE to play Ben Arfa, simple as, no one in our squad comes close to match Cabaye for vision and executing long passes.

We will need some brilliance from Ben Arfa, and he's probably the best creative option after Cabaye.

cabaye doesn't strike me as the sort of guy to go around kicking people for no reason. That's why this is suprising. maybe he got pissed off of being fouled repeatedly by this guy.

No way he did it on purpose? Seriously? He clearly kicked out with his leg then sat up looking at the guy with an enormously pissed off expression on his face. I love Cabaye as much as the next guy, whether or not his intent was to hit him in the face who knows; but he clearly meant to lash out with his foot because he was pissed off about being bundled over.

To be fair, the baldy bloke was smashing into to our players all game, fouling them and looking for a bite and got one.
