QPR fans were pretty tame yesterday on Terry. Loftus road was very flat. And they were taunting the alleged abuser not the victim. The Chelsea fans asked Anton what the score was; and a couple of ******r chants. Not too bad, partly because Chelsea have not played the victim card like Liverpool and condoned racism passively. However liverpool's treatment of the victim of racism evra, was disgusting. Anfield was a cauldron of hate. Constant intense booing rather than the intermittent booing of Terry; Monkey noises and Dalglish refusing to condemn his fans in the press conference after. Disgusting; and remember Evra was the victim here, not LFC. The treatment they handed out to Evra rattled him and he was at fault for goals that cost United a place in the next round. the FA should ban LFc from playing cup ties at Anfield after racist abuse v Oldham and United. How many rounds are they allowed to play at home and racially abuse black players and get away with it? imagine if that happened at Chelsea, the press would be all over us and getting us thrown out of the competition.
Agreed, just a bit of banter between the two sets of supporters i.e. booing & chanting. Red tops tried to hype it up but common sense prevailed.
The FA should just dock Liverpool points, with the possibility of expelling them from all Cups, if they keep it up. That would shut them up...which by their standards is continuing to play the victim for all its worth, but not appealing the decision at any point in time. Tyhe more they complain, the more points get deducted.
Apart from the odd few idiots making monkey noises Liverpool were well behaved. There's nothing wrong with booing Evra the whole game as he is a ****.
A few Liverpool fans I know all agree that Suarez deserved a ban, but they all also agree that the FA completely ****ed up the whole thing which just adds to the hatred. The FA afterall gave him a ban and tarnished his name without even explaining their reasons, they also said that Evras offensive language to Suarez didn't deserve any punishment, for no reason other than he didn't mention a colour when being offensive, they then had the nerve to say that Suarez isn't a racist, yet still gave him a ban longer than those they dish out for horrific fouls, is it any wonder Liverpool fans hate the FA, ManUtd and Evra in particular?
To be fair theres nothing wrong with them booing evra / supporting suarez, there just booing a oppositions player and supporting there own player... Racist chants are disgusting and the people should be banned, but theres nothing wrong with booing/ supporting there own
Have to agree with that, the FA have tried to be PC by favouring the black foreign player as opposed to the white one just to make a point. But the the FA ****ing up isn't anything new is it?
In reality you're neither, even albinos aren't white and even the darkest skinned person on earth isn't black.
1bn Chinese and 1bn Indians beg to differ. To be frank, if it was Andy Carroll that decided to make several racist comments to Patrice Evra over the course of two minutes instead of Suarez, most of Liverpool's line of defence would fall apart, because they couldn't play the "He's from Montevideo" card they've been doing to try and find some half-assed excuse (as if there's no such thing as racial abuse in South America...) or try to say that whatever racial slur he used has a different meaning in Gateshead or on Merseyside, as that would presumably see the club issued with a whopping fine for insulting the intelligence of everyone who uses the English language.
Lets not get bogged down with nuances here otherwise its a bit like getting cornered by a drunken underclass spud called Ensil. He's Whitish and Evra ain't. **** me the lengths one has to go to make a point
I have a major issue with your signature. Mocking one failed post is one thing but mocking an entire fan base on this sight in quite an abusive manner is another thing. I guess it would be too much to ask for you to change it.
Pot, Kettle... By the way, as all the Liverpool comments were from threads they started on our board, it's fair game.
