    LEEDS UTD VS BIRMINGHAM CITY

    VENUE: ELLAND ROAD

TIME: TUESDAY 31ST JANUARY AT 7.45pm

Birmingham travel up to Elland Road on Tuesday evening, with both clubs hovering just outside the playoffs.
Birmingham are a point ahead of Leeds, and have a game in hand over there Yorkshire rivals. Free scoring Birmingham should be full of confidence having put four past Sheffield Utd at the weekend, three past Watford last weekend, and lets not forget putting six past Millwall the week before. They are unbeaten in nine games.

Leeds are unbeaten in the League this year, albeit coming from behind in all three league games, and with there opponents finishing with ten men. They are one of two teams that have goalscorers in double figures, Southampton being the other team.

Can't complain with that elland. I think for the first time in a while we know what our strongest 11 is.

The side picks itself really when all are fit and firing on all cylinders. Can't argue really, I'm pretty sure Roy Rogers or what ever his name is will play a part!

I'm hoping we can surprise them but I'd be happy with a draw. Only advantage for us is the extended break....or is it.

I'd take a draw now if offered one, and I don't normally say that. This is a big game that we can't really afford to lose.

A win, nothing less. We've won 2 games at home on the bounce, they should be more than confident enough to give a performance worthy of a win. Birmingham are good, but they're not head and shoulders above us.

Evening all. As you say, team currently picks itself, although I'd rather see Bromby thwn O'Dea. Any news of any incomings?

Can we please, please just for once, not go one down in the first fifteen minutes. Would settle for nil nil at half time and give it our usual second half burst. Can turn season around with this one

I really really want to win this game but i have said it before that birmingham and west ham are the best teams in this league and on current form you'd have to say so. This is going to be a tough game but if we win as Eireleeds1 says this could turn our season. I'd go for the same team as ellandback chose except anyone in place of O'Dear (and i mean ANYONE)

Although saying that, i'd probably accept a draw

I wonder could Simon organize a 45 minute friendly for the lads at Thorpe arch before kick off. Would give the lads time to get all the **** out of their system maybe

Not looking forward to it at all.

But usually when I haven't looked forward to a game, we play brilliant and it's amazing.

Which is making me look forward to it.

    <yikes>

I think my brain's just imploded.

I wouldn't give us too much chance in this game, considering how poorly we've played the last 3 league games. But hopefully Delph can find form and McCormack and Becchio start to form a good partnership. Do you reckon we'll get to see Robbie Rogers this game?
