Hooper may have only played today coz it was the Scottish League Cup Semi-Final... Still think something is going to happen!
that's not a problem! Two strikers playing, knowing that at half timem they could be hauled off of not doing the business.
We've made an enquiry about taking him (defender) on loan. Anyone have any knowledge about what he's like?
you posted this on the rumour thread and then here seperately without waiting for an answer. No need for another thread.
Ipswich fans seem to have found Collins competent if not overwhelmingly good during his loan spell this year. Good addition, I think; second-choice behind Hooiveld on the left side, but should be solid, experienced cover if Jos' hamstring injury keeps him out for longer than expected.
Collins is poor. Was at Ipswich while they were shipping goals like they were going out of fashion. If he's any more than a short term stop gap while we have injuries it will be a waste of money. Suggests to me that Hooiveld might be out a little while longer than we think as Collins is a leftie.
No need to apologise. I was more pointing you in the direction of some sort of answer to your question (what is he like).
I think the Hooper saga was over long ago, even with the rumours about him re: contract and I would like us to sign Sharp but I can't see it happening.,I do however think we will sign someone. One thing is for sure there are going to be some mashed up f5 keys by the end of Tuesday night, including mine!
To be fair, they're still shipping goals...over two a game since he departed, about the same pace as with him.
And presumably a fair few 1000 people trying to work out if they can see any non-Saints footballers sitting in the directors box that evening, watching us play Cardiff.
