“Darius is on a very good run and it was a good finish from him for the goal - he put in a good performance and was a real threat for us, but we didn't do enough off of him, we didn't quite capitalise enough on his skills although I didn't think we deserved to get beaten.”

”The team has spirit and at times play some quality football but this game was almost indicative of our season. We had a lot of the ball but couldn't put it away.”

• The Lions

Hameur Bouazza is injured so we will not see him facing his former employer and also Jordan Stewart will not as he has a groin strain. One player who will definately play is Darius Henderson. Blue uniforms lots of ex-Hornets could be Cardiff City, but it is not. Other Millwall players on the injured list are Tamika Mkandawire, Therry Raconm, Ryan Mason and club captain Paul Pobinson. Alan Dunne and Shane Lowry who have been suspended could return to the team.

“I thought we were good value for sure and you work hard to try to bring the rewards of the performance and we certainly did but credit to them, they found the way to win and sometimes that is what you have to do. My assistant Ian Woan has a saying – you need a future in your performances and there is certainly a future in that performance.”

“There were lots of positives to take from the game. There is a great work ethic within the group no matter who plays and in the bigger picture of the club, there were six players who started tonight that are academy products. That is important for our club especially in testing times when finances are hard to come by. We believe in our academy and our young players and they had a taste of it tonight.”

• The Hornets

This line it is the same every match except Tiny’s injury changes. Stephen McGinn is making light training now after his knee injury and Martin Taylor has broken a toe.

Update on the Hornet's latest statistics

Who will win?
Current form With one win in the last five and that was a cup win against fourth level Bradford City Watford’s results do mot look to healthy. Even outscoring Tottenham Hotspur on everything except goals will be forgotten as Rafael van der Vaart’s goal is the only thing that will be remembered. Millwall have had six matches in January showing an improving set of results from two defeats and adraw in the first three to two wins and a draw in the latest. The run has included a 0-6 beating by Birmingham and a 5:0 win against Dagenham and Redbridge. What is pleasing for the Lions is Darius Henderson is scoring for pleasure.

Akureyri's Prediction: 0-0 There will be no repeat of the Hornets last visit to south east London and with a goal shy attack I see Watford struggling. If Darius Henderson can be kept controlled there will be little for the locals to cheer either.

Nice one AK - 5 *'s from me.

I will go for a 3-3 draw - Hendo seems to be banging 'em in before he gets banged up, but the Lions defence looks a bit suspect.

Good thread ak. <ok>

Think I will wait and see who we will have available to play before I say how many we might win by. ;)

Do you have any interest from the PL for any of your players mighty? We do and if one or two go it could have a bearing on the result. We might conceed more and score less. ;)

BCFC

im not even going to waste my time looking at that link <ok>

SO PREDICTABLE THAT YOU ARE!!

Go on, do have at least a little peep at it mighty. <laugh>

I would not think there is any chance of a repeat. Half of that team no longer play for us.:(

ofh
you would still have beaten us that day with just the half of the team <laugh>

LCW 's a vagrant - not enough fun on his site. In fact it's full of <ghost> dreaming about their glory days.

Back to the future - KJ wants this one badly and we have some decent players back - 2-0 Lions COYL
