Sorry if this has been done and I missed it. Have we ever considered meeting up with chums on this board for a pint or five? Or should we preserve the anonymity that comes from only knowing each other electronically? I mean if we were to meet and turned out to be a bunch of tossers then the magic may be lost forever. But I suspect the chances of that are quite slim. As I say, sorry if its been done or discounted before. Any thoughts?
It has been mentioned before mate but, it didn't really get off the ground. I never say no to a few beers so if people do fancy it I'm deffo there.
Quite a lot on here think I am a tosser - without ever meeting me - so I shall not sully any gathering with my malevolent presence. Having said that, I am actually quite a nice person and would dearly love to meet a few not606ers, so who knows?

I don't think so either, Ponders. You have strong views, usually well articulated - I often don't agree with them, but no-one could doubt the depth of your convictions. As for a mass meet-up, I'm not sure about that. I've met up with individual not606 members and it's been great but the air of mystique that comes from the relative anonymity of posting behind a monicker and playing "spot a2c" at a game is not to be underestimated.

If it were hooters and IA put us up then defs! I'm open to meeting up, but its been mentioned a few times before but never materialists. I think a few have unknowingly met before.. I remember after the southend game it turned out me and "big Phil's red army" (606'er) had been sat a row apart.
As for a meet, if you want to me me around 12ish at most home games I can been seen briefly at the Rose & Denmark pub till about 12:30 as I then head to the ground to get things prepared for 1:30 which is when I start my job.
i would be well happy to meet up. i think this board is great and a lot more highbrow than most other teams banalities. i would love to meet PEA for sure. we could argue about politics but share mutual love of CAFC. would just need some notice as i will probably only go to 2 or 3 more games this season
