http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/feb/12/david-gill-manchester-united-debt personally, i think he's a slimey greaseball ****er and i wouldn't trust him as far as i could throw him.
A thread about Man Utd on the Man Utd board. There's a novel idea..... This board has so many threads about Arsenal, you'd think you were all closet Gooners
Wow, just looked and there are more threads about arsenal on you board than about you. The worst part of it is nohlman writes all you articles as well
yeah..shame theres still a few goonie cretins hanging about would have thought you'd have disappeared after last nights embarrassment
Two gooners commenting on an article on the Man Utd board that has nothing to do with their team, criticising us for being "obssessed" with Arsenal. Irony.
Not ironic at all. We're pointing out that this is one of the few that is actually about Man Utd, the rest are about Arsenal, you should know, you wrote most of them
Only because you've started moving all Berb's WUM threads again instead of deleting or closing them like we agreed <no> I trust Gill more than I trust Kenyon, but about as much as any chief executive. To be honest his comments before the takeover are only what any CEO of a plc facing a takeover bid would say. Whether he agreed with them or not, he was duty bound to say them to ensure the shareholders held out for the maximum possible amount. Now he works for the Glazer's and he's duty bound to represent the club in a way that makes them the highest return on their investment. Same as all clubs - the CEO says what he thinks is best for the owners.
That's because they were **** **** me, even this one is talking about Arsenal, you lot are a bunch of closet Gooners. Listen I'll give you some help. Man Utd board is about guess what....? Man Utd and this thread is about David Gill...you do know who he is don't you? He's Man Utd's CE So, I'll get you started. David Gill, whilst a good CE for the last few years would worry me by (1) handing out a huge contract to Rooney after he had Utd over a barrel and (2) Refusing to engage in dialogue with The Manchester United Supporters Trust and the Independent Manchester United Supporters Association. After all, these are the fans of the club that he runs. and remember....no comments about Arsenal (if you can help yourself?)
We would be talking about the topic of this thread if you gooners hadn't invaded it looking for an arguement
David Gill is a very respected cheif executive and one of the best at what he does and I trust him. Has a son who plays for this club and cares about Man Utd. However, Jordan, our very own manager shares very similar views to D Gill, but do you not trust SAF as well?
I don't trust him as far as I could throw him. However I am quite strong so I reckon I could throw him quite far... Anyway, he's obviously very good at his job, but that doesn't necessarily mean honest. I think he cares more about his 7 figure salary than he does about being honest with us humble fans.
Hes a man doing a job and its not down to whether or not we believe him. I however do believe him far more than I do the press and its the press saying we are ****ed.
Do i trust gill to be doing the right thing? Yes Do i trust him to be totally honest with us all the time? No
I don't believe David Gill when he waxes lyrical about the wonderful Glazers but he's just doing his job. If he came out and criticised their ownership, he'd be gone from his job very quickly and replaced with someone who would continue to praise the Glazers but probably not do as good a job as Gill on the commercial side of things. So, do I trust him? I trust him to do his job to the best of his abilities. Do I believe him when he says everything is all rosy? No. But I don't really think he can say much else in his position.
