You only have to see how little the FA Cup means to fans by looking at the empty seats at the SOL for the Sunderland v Boro game. It's a local derby FFS.The FA seem to have no interest in the cup.Why else would they schedule a full league programme for cup final day ?

I'd sacrifice a season or 2 in the CL to win an FA Cup.

Did he actually say this? An insult to both the cup, the teams and to the fans. If it's not important Wenger then why don't you offer free seats? Oh that's right, the revenue the match will bring in is important, just what happens on the pitch isn't.

Good grief, we were a completely different side the second half. We completely dominated Aston Villa and looked very comfortable. We played some no nonsense vintage stuff and deserved the win. With OXO and Walcott charging down the flanks is bringing back good old memories....

There is a time and place to play that tippy tappy stuff but sometimes you need to just get on with it. We now have players that are quick eg. Walcott, Oxo, Wilshere, Frimpong so we shoulnd't shy from our old style of play...

For you any team left is a danger.

Liverpool at Anfield would beat you IMO and Chelsea are also more than capable even though our defending against you in the last 2 games has been cataclysmic to say the least.

I honestly believe you will find a trip to the North East, be it Sunderland or Boro a lot tougher than you think, If I'm not wrong Arsenal have a horrible recent record at both SOL and the Riverside.

It will definitely be on TV which is another positive, but if any of the big teams go out next round, I think it could be Arsenal

  17. I hate to say this but you are not far wrong IMHO

Unless we get our mental approach to each game correct, sharpen our finishing, tighten our defensive work, we will always go into each game exposed and we will struggle at many games. This team is nowhere near the Arsenal of old, the winning Arsenal. :(

And who is to blame for this?

    A go of it, definitely.

So the question is, if we win the FA Cup and make the top 4, is Wenger a genius, and can he stay? Both are still very possible, despite all the doom and gloom.

Am i the only person who still thinks Wenger should be fired? Everyone else seems so fickle. We played well for 15 minutes today, that's all.
