Name calling? Then 'twat'? Irony. Its hilarious how you lot think he merely mistimes all these challenges. <doh>

Having watched Catts since his move here I can safely say he does not go into tackles intending to cause harm and anyone who says otherwise has never watched him or has black and White specs on.

I've posted the tackle, explain the intent to harm.

Looks like an ill advised but genuine attempt to win the ball, which was open.

Deserved a red, but for mistiming, not malice.

The 'twat' was in response to you.

And i'm far from thick fella, but I won't even bother going down that line.

Catts knew there was no chance he was getting that, and nearly took his ****ing knee off. I admit Barton is a filthy ****, and Cabaye has a mean streak from what weve seen. Shame you lot dont do the same <ok> If Catts played for anyone else youd agree.

I agree that he has a hot streak which at times leads to wreckless attempts TO GET THE BALL.

NEVER has he gone in to hurt someone, never.

And THAT is what we are arguing here.

I honestly disagree. If you know you likely wont get the ball theres no need to lunge in. That isnt clumsyness. Its maliciousness.

I'll Admit he goes in Hard and at times makes rash tackles but show me the evidence of going out to hurt someone.

He had a reputation which any Sunderland fan will admit, so Refs where gunning for him I've seen tackles from Catts which wouldn't even had got a yellow or a caution but because it was Catts it got a red

You cannot say that that is anything like a Henry or De Jong though, no way on earth.

He's gone for the ball, he was never gonna get it, but he went for it.

To compare him to an animal like Henry is wrong, simple as that.

Henry is eyes on man, Catts is eyes on ball. Massive difference.
