Gtf lad,you were a PSG supporter living in France when we played and beat Milan in Istanbul. By the way "3-0 win" in the first half?
Weren't you just saying we didn't earn the European Cup in05 as we were second best team that night make your mind up dickhead and try not to contradict yourself in the space of two or three messages...it just underlines that you're speaking from your ringpiece
Sacre bleu. It might have escaped your attention mon amis but United were'nt the best team in England when they qualified for the 98-99 CL competition Arsenal were.
Wow my thread's gone downhill. You don't win a competition like the Champions League by fluke. I'm sorry if you think that's possible then you're bloody stupid. Amusing an Arsenal fan on here giving it the biggun. Does it not concern you then that you havent won the Champion League when you had a good team? 2-0 Bent HAVE IT.
Yeah because Kiev had a terrible team in the 90s didn't they And the 90's Juve, Inter and even Barca teams were mighty then weren't they????
I think you might have to...start...speaking.....to.......this........tool........a........little..........bit............slower...............mate
All the big boys are out by round 4, I suppose you need to let the little guys have a chance of Europe
Totally agreed. Downing, Adam, Johnson, Henderson, Kuyt can never be counted as starters if Liverpool are to compete at the highest level. I'd say, only Suarez, Gerrard, Bellamy (on the current form), Enrique, Reina and two CBs deserve their starting places.
Exactly. I remember what Steve Mcmahon said on ESPN Asia. It was against some weak team, and it ended in a nil-nil draw as the other team decided to play counter-attack too. Ok Liverpool got the better of both City and United but it was purely out of ragged physical pressure more than anything. I can't see them winning anything other than odd matches here and there, unless they signed someone with class and finesse. Too much substance, not enough style
