Yea take the two best strikers out of every team and I'd like to see how they'd perform... Man United without Rooney and Welbeck for 4 weeks , Arsenal without RVP and one of their wingers for 4 weeks , Chelsea without Drogba and Sturridge for 4 weeks or Liverpool without Suarez and Bellamy for 4 weeks. It affects sides and it's only normal. Missing Tiote has been a blow as well as Cabaye plays much better alongside him as Tiote staying behind him allows him to play freely in between the strikers and the midfielders. Oh and what sound of leaving to Marseille does Cabaye like? He's been fantastic for us this season in what is just his first season in the Premier League. I have very high expectations for this lad.
You haven't lost your best 2 strikers as you never have had them both. When we are beaten, I find it easier to say nowt, especially if a defeat to a lower league team follows a beating from an average side, and a slump in form, regardless of the odd high point, tracing back 3 months. When we are **** for 3 months, I worry about it, because that's normal behaviour. We were **** for the first 3 months of this season, and I openly panicked. I'm not panicking now, but then, why would I? If I supported a team 14th in the form league, who clearly over-performed to be 6th, i'd maybe wonder a little. Cisse is a Newcastle player and is undoubtedly a fantastic finisher (your excitement when you thought you were signing him confirms this) and so he was a sort of miss. He would have tucked away at least two of the chances Leon Best managed to **** up in grand fashion.
