I thought he played quite well today. I know theres been a lot of flack his way of late... well since he started playing for us.

But one thing he does is try and give 100% which for me is good enough. Theres no doubt hes not world class, not premiership class,,,,,

But he has done ok of late. I think with a bit of confidence and some support he may be ok for us.

(I THINK IM JUST GOING MENTAL)

Ideally I wouldn't want him playing but I thought he had a cracking game today.

Hes a much better DM than he is CB though, and would rather he was used there.

He just needs the right partner next to him.

Next to Colo he's not a great choice as neither are great in the air. He's good on the ground.

It should be Willo to cover Saylor and Perch to cover Colo.

We should never played Colo and Perch together or Saylor and Willo together.

Not being funny BUT how can you judge how Saylor and Willo together, when they've never played together.

They have played together, against Villa last season away, and they were dreadful next to each other.

I don't like the sound of a Willo and Saylor partnership at all.

Anyonelse feel sorry for Perch. Played his best game for us since he joined but it's overshadowed by a **** performance from the rest of the team.

Agreed, I've stuck up for Perch recently. He's good on the ground, just not in the air. If he's played along side a big player he's good.

He did ok today, however he either passes it to Krul who boots it up to Ameobi who ultimatly loses out or he boots it up the pitch and loses the ball. Today we lost because our tactics were bizarre and the fact they were flying in with leg breaking challenges and our arses fell out for the 50 50's.

He was faultless today, even to the point where he was bailing players out.

Faultless? hhmm I'm not sure if anyone was faultless but he did ok. The last thing we need is Pardew thinking he should play him in premier league games .

He deserves a start but we need height in our side which is why Willo is playing.

He looked okay as he was playing against players at his level CHAMPIONSHIP at best.

Perch doing ok is the worst thing that could have happended in my opinion. Now he might start at Blackburn and we will concede goals left right and center. If Ameobi lines up I will start to wonder if Pardew has had his brain swapped with Steve Bruce or something.
