    I'd go:

    Krul
    Raylor Williamson Coloccini Santon
    BenArfa Cabaye Guthrie Gutierrez
    Cisse Ba

I think Blackburn may be too early for the Demba's though so I'd go:

    Krul
    Santon Williamson Coloccini Ferguson
    Raylor Cabaye Guthrie Gutierrez
    Best BenArfa

Well sorry but I don't care for being totally formal on an internet forum. It's just a bit of crack, I do it with my mates all the time, we know it's not serious.

People say things to me on here that I don't like but people just tell me to grow a pair and man up.

Ideally I'd rather he didn't play at all. But if he must be played, then yeah certainly the full 90 is a baffling decision by Pardew.

Agree that Ben Arfa was shocking today. If that was Obertan he'd be getting piled with abuse.

It's because Ben Arfa does well in most of his games, Ober is consistently ****.

Ben Arfa should still start next game. He's been in good form in most of his games.

The ratings as usual are pants. PTN is right, take some time to calm down and think it all through before doing this you might actually get something like the truth that way.

As for Shola and Perch. Perch was MOTM for me, excellent performance. Shola did ok early doors but obviously tires as the game goes on (don't know how though he doesn't exactly run around alot) and should really be substituted.

But the key for me here is, as average as Shola was how come he is taking so much stick and yet Ben Arfa gets none despite being even worse. Apart from the through ball for Simmo in the first half I can't think of a single worthwhile contribution. I've said it before, leaping to the Shola scapegoat reaction stops us from giving a proper analysis of where it went wrong and there were worse culprits than him today.

Ben Arfa has individual great moments, but I still think Ober adds more to our team in terms of pace and dynamism. In a 442 he's actually very useful. It's obvious who's a more talented player but I'd probably bench Benny after that display and use him as an impact sub against Blackburn

Most of the time I am, but I think people picture me with a vein throbbing in my temple, ****ting my pants in anger just because I swear at times. I'm not angry.

He's not like, despite being lightning quick, he has no confidence and bottles it most of the time when he has a chance to run to the wing, his crossing is 99% of time absolute ****.

HBA on most days plays a key role in attacking moves, produces moments of magic and scores or sets up a chance.

These 'moments of magic' are few and far between. Obertan keeps the ball moving and gets us forward. Regardless of whether he passes it back to Simpson or not, the ball gets forward and we have players up in support. This is not slagging of HBA at all, I just don't think he does as much as people make out.

    <ok>

Well in this instance, I wasn't filled with rage, but I was definitely frustrated. I'm sure some other people on this forum are on moc.606ton in their parallel universe, because I imagine in that universe Shola is consistently amazing.

Ben Arfa scores goals quite often, sets up good chances and is in every way better than Obertan, apart from he isn't as fast. Ben Arfa can actually beat players, Obertan can't.

Ben Arfa wasn't very good today, but I think scoring a goal in one match, playing **** the next and being dropped for it is quite harsh.

It would totally dent Ben Arfa confidence to be dropped now. He's scored 3 goals since he's come back and back great in most of his matches.

Ben Arfa is allowed to **** sometimes, hes scored the best goal of 2012 (only that alvez volley comes close from what ive seen) and he scored against fulham.

How many times has Obertan scored? never and i think hes only set up one goal... so obertan has been consistantly **** whereas Ben Arfa is hit and miss, id rather have a 50/50 than a 0
