There's evident violent conduct there, and as it went unpunished there's a very real chance he'll get a ban if the FA see anything in it. Tempers flared a bit too much tonight, but glad to see he's got a bit of bite <ok>

I don't see how it was intentional. His foot was just landing after being felled, after the Balotelli incident I don't think he would be stupid enough to do this on purpose.

    It was clearly intentional.

However if Lescott got away with what he did then there's hope

I honestly believe he flung his leg out to catch him. But thats just my opinion.

The disorientation of falling over in that manner would have made him blind to his surroundings and what was around him. To punish him for that, you'd have to punish the majority of players in every team.

It looked pretty obvious to me it was intentional.

It just looked like a tangle to me, certainly no way of proving it. Like the first contact with Balotelli and Parker, no one apart from Balotelli will ever no if that was intentional, the second one clearly was though. And after last weekend when Lescott punched Kaboul and Crouch gouged at someone's eye I don't think the FA can really do anything.

He obviously didnt mean to catch him in the face, but he clearly meant to kick out in frustration. So yeah we should really hope to get away with this one I think.

I think they may be lenient on him for two main reasons:

1/ He is a very sexy player and a few winks here and there may change their view

2/ The 'victim' in question was, in want of better words, 'A bald headed bastard'. This might see him avoid punishment

In what minute did this happen? Missed the game but recorded it so I can fast forward.

I said in the matchday thread, but I really think little kicks like that happen all the time when players go down together. But he definitely didn't mean to catch him in the face, and if it weren't for the guy making a meal of it, they'd never have shown it in slow motion over and over, and likely nobody would have ever even noticed it happened.

It happened in a fraction of a second, he flailed as he fell to the ground, wouldn't want to see him banned for that.

Didn't a Brighton player bust Williamsons lisp? That baldy player should just man the **** up, I've cut my self shaving and been worse off than that.

At least when Tiote gets pissed off he just bumps into players or does a rough tackle, that kick was ****ing stupid by Cabaye.

Blantant thuggery from Cabaye. Pardew needs to tell the lads to calm it down. We don't need another Barton.

Now, a lot of you trash Barton for being a 'liability' on the pitch, but Cabaye's not far behind him...

(Hadn't seen the post above about old Joey)
