i dont care how you theme it - first letter of first name or last name, all the same christian name, names with colours in, names with mac in them, players with names like famous people, placename, you decide. get your chris elton book out and scour history.

here is my first names inclyding plurals as last name:

    norman
    edwards roberts roberts graham
    roberts franklin hughes hughes
    edwards stevens

subs (optional this): terry hughes alexander alexander daniel

should make it nice and easy for motson, heh heh heh.

How about a team (maybe only a 5 a side team) of City players that have been in trouble with the law?

I'll start it off with Chris Simpkin (Simmo) done for keeping a brothel.

i was working on a famous people list with famous mostly being for non-football reasons, though one did sneak in. only got 7 so far though:

    barry white
    john major
    john prescott
    ian wright
    john collier
    richard jobson
    samuel johnson

i did try an animals and birds one too:

    swan
    lyon lyons peacock deere fox
    hart lamb brock
    swann swan

there was this jobs one that i never got round to narrowing down:
    in no particular order:

    smith
    turner hawker potter shepherd gardner
butler butler hunter butcher cooper baker
fletcher fryer slater skipper taylor mason stoker miller scorer

there was this one based on titles and most of them were strikers but at least they had a proper goalie (whopps just rememebered dennis butler) and maybe proctor and reeve would work:

    duke
    abbott prince
king king butler knight lord sargeant major marshall
