here are your links to your comments stating you would sign him. Joke. http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/F19406239?thread=7879119 http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/F19412822?thread=7880694&skip=0&show=20
Vito Mannone? Corry Evans? Anthony Gerrard? very decent players, believe it or not we have an excllent scout in Steve Walsh who is finding talented players all the time. Plus, we have a good relationship with Man United, so hence why we attract some of their young players on loan. Good players do want to come to Hull City, believe it or not. Your comment though on players falling over themselves to come to Leeds is laughable. OK, maybe after 4 seasons if you've stayed up and established yourselves, but its worth remembering you'll be returning to a premiership were teams such as Bolton and Fulham are more established than yourselves, thus your left with the players likes of Wolves and WBA have. You've been out the premiership for 7 years, players may not be as eager to join Leeds as you may think.
What evidence does either of them show? Both articles were started off by Leeds fans not OLM. One had rubbish link to the tabloids speculating he was on the move and the other a wind up that;s still waiting for moderation.
Well done, you just proved I didn't say we were going to sign Becchio, thanks for that, I thought so. The first link is just to rumour in a newspaper and the second one just states that the only article on the Hull board about Becchio was posted by a Leeds fan. You're really not very good at this.
The thing is though you just cant change history and teams like Bolton cant stack up to ours. A massive club like leeds will attract players from anyone outside the top 7 or 8 clubs. (thats rep wise not position, we could attract someone from bolton who wants to play for a BIG club who would fill the stadium.
SuperLeeds spread the word over the road and we are all coming over to mob you now. MIGHTY MIGHTY LEEDS
Super leeds, i think you miss the point i'm making. Having been out the premier league for 7 years, your past acheivements may be lost on some players, such as those abroad. Whereas clubs such as Bolton and Fulham are in the premier league and pushing for Europe, they're more on the radar for some players and agents. Football is fickle, and some people only concentrate on how things are in the here and now, not 10/15 years ago. You may claim to have more history than clubs like Bolton (debateable), but how much of that applies within the last 10 years? If Forest go up, not many players will look at them and think 'they won the European cup 30 years ago, lets join them due to their past reputation'. Its the same for you lot, you need a good 3 years in the premier league before you can expect to get a better standard of players.
You're a ******. Hull has always been in the historical county of the East Riding of Yorkshire and Humberside broke up in 1996. Geography and History lesson over for the day. Toodle pip.
Liverpool won it 6 years ago, look how things have gone for them since. Didn't keep Torres there did it?
