This. As a DM, Perch is at average for the Premier League, he's mostly calm and can make a few decent challenges. In defence (pretty much anywhere in defence) he's shown that he's near hopeless (hence the amount we concede with him CB/RB). In both positions he gives his all though, no matter how poor he is in that position.

I think he means figuratively, like 'prove he deserves it via his actions'. But that is pretty daft because the one thing we generally do get from Perch is effort. He just doesnt have the quality to back it up.

Well there you go. I've no doubt he trains as hard as anyone else, he isnt going to tell the boss to drop Colo/Taylor/Tiote/Cabaye because he deserves a chance is he? And Perch is getting quite a few sub apps these days anyway.

 

Wish Kadar and Lovenkrands had started instead of Perch and Shola.
