As about a minute before the goal Hobbs nearly mashed himself on one of the concrete walls round the pitch (jumped the barrier and caught his studs) I have no problem with saying I'll be glad if we lose this. We've had a warning and escaped, lets not push our luck with injuries when we've more important things to achieve this season than getting knocked out at Anfield in the next round.
Bollocks yer that'right. It is how City are playing. Has the team actually turned up. They are been totally outplayed
Just illustrative, even if we won the Cup I'd be pissed off if we missed out on promotion through having tired players from the fixture backlog or had lost key players through injury/suspension. Hobbs just seemed to do his best to get himself sent off as well, so he's now had an injury scare, a red card scare, and the red card scare could easily have landed Barmby a touchline ban with the reaction in the dugouts (a coach on each side sent to the stands).
The worst thing about this is the fact that we will now have to endure about 500 posts of Tickler talking about Tubbs.
You can't expect a team of misfits like the tigers have fielded to have the same cohesion and desire of a Cup running team like Crawley who really want to win.I,m happy to lose rather than draw or win .League is more important.
Not bothered why it's happened within the game, it's a cup game that's been threatening our chances in the league.
