We created more genuine goal scoring opportunities so we deserved the win. It´s that simple ! If you want to blame anyone blame Evra for losing Kuyt. One thing, what a great atmosphere that was from both sets of fans, commendable.

So liverpool sitting back and allowing your five man midfield to pass it round the half way line is manu outplaying them. As has been said, liverpool created more chances in a very tight game.

We missed Lucas who has the highest tackle success rate in the league before he got injured. Suarez is our most creative player, we ony played City a couple of days back - you lot should of had the legs on us, You cannot say injuries lost you this match becaue we have our own problems too. You should look at the fact you've got an ancient midfielder running things because Fergie hasnt replaced him - he's had years! You took Scholes off and we scored - Fergie tactics were poor there. You have a poor keeper - you lot decided to buy him - and we got lots of changed out of him. Evra' marking was terrible for our second - you need to blame him for that. We also could of had a third - you guys created very little. Draw would of been fair, but us winning is not luck - your players, and arguably Fergie, lost you this match. We were clinical.
very bitter OP. yes Utd had injuries and lacked a cutting edge... BUT... we had carragher in midfield.. spearing is half fit.. lucas is out, suarez was out too. kuyt has looked well past it and the ball just fell lovely to him had he needed to ru nfor the ball he'd have lost out. Bellamy can't play very often basically bar maybe utd losing vidic and ferdinand we had a second choice RB, our midfield was hanging in there and while trying carroll was not great. We played our hearts out on wednesay while utd rested, downing looked tired but willing, henderson looked the same, gerrard was run out. We got lucky? we worked for it. btw... tell evra.. evra is 30 does your stand in captain need ferdinand to tell him what to do??? we scored off a dodgy keeper... utd scored off an enrique mistake.. we won it off a long ball... that'll happen! finally MOTM deservedly was valencia.. most quality on show but schole was making hay due to no pressure on him.
yeah true, Sir Alex should of put Ferdinand in for the last few minutes to control the defence but hats of to Liverpool, they took thier chances
