Just been looking on the Sunderland board and they are talking about how the away fans may be moved from behind the goal, as the fat one believes it influences the away team, and a few of their fans claiming its a horrible site when away teams don't take their full allocation. Well, the Sunderland away end is only half of the stand, the other half is empty, as are most seats in the front 10 rows all around the stadium.

Anyway, a few are complaining about where we put our away fans. Where else could we put them? I think its a great view from up there, with plenty of room and the noise still travels, obviously they aren't close to the pitch but we are at home, why should they be next to the pitch? I personally hate being near the front, I like a distant view, but each to their own.

Does anyone have any problems with where we put the away fans, and where could they be moved to?

I love where we put the away fans however I believe it is a bad move to put the family enclosure right next to them.
If i was drawing up the plans I would have the Away fans in L7 Milburn as it is the quietest part of the ground!

Totally agree, Milburn stand level 7, far corner overlooking the gallowgate roof. Only been in that section once and it was the ****test seat I've had at St James'.

Level 7 should be on a huge swivel at the bottom. When they score just tip it over into Leazes park. Few tipper wagons and take them home..

Badger after reading your post you should get a job for The Sun, they tend to make things up.

Just read through all the comments to make sure I missed nothing, no comments about empty seats and the article follows Quinns comments at roadshows, no moaning mackems.

How sad that you have nothing better to write about and cant even get this wrong.

    Moaning badgers I think.

The away end at Newcastle is great, and the view of the stadium, the game andcity are fantastic. Well, with the exception of the fact it takes an entire first half of gasping, panting and wheezing before you can breathe properly and enjoy the match. FOURTEEN FLIGHTS OF ****ING STAIRS!

Cut down on the ciggies WhiteRoseTiger and it won't feel like so many stairs.

Should feel honoured really to be sitting beside and getting entertained by our singers.

How nice of you to comment.

It was an article asking about our away end and why it gets so much criticism, it's not sad, it's called having a discussion about MY club! I fail to see how I am moaning, I am simply pointing out that you are trying to have another dig at us.
