Good to see supporters on here clearly watching a different game to me... United the better team? Get real. You have all the ball because we're letting you have it. Our (wrong imo) tactic since the goal was to sit back, press the ball when needed and reduce you to nothing in the final third and it was going well until Enrique screwed up. Even match so far overall, both teams with their chances, one goal each, but I hope we change our gameplan to take advantage of your aging midfield who won't be able to keep up with a high tempo. And both fans at the ground have been twats. Get over yourselves. Did you not see the banners? **** like "United defending champions. Liverpool defending racists". Please. Both sets of fans have bad apples.

What I will say is that the game has been largely disappointing. United have arrived without their usual firepower - Nani, Rooney for instance, and therefore have decided to play for possession. Carrick and Scholes have been tidy but unadventurous, Giggs slightly more attacking but ineffective so far. This has resulted in United boxing Liverpool in without really threatening much - until Enrique's mistake. It doesn't help that we're playing Carra in midfield - he doesn't have the legs. Neither side has been 'better'. United's tactics certainly have worked.
I agree, he's been so good this season, maybe he needs a break? Or as you say, he has a slight injury.
That Liverpool fan doing the monkey gesture is now going to serve a life time ban, and lose his job or some other life ruining outcome...hopefully.
I can see Kuyt coming on for Maxi to add more of a defensive approach to the game, when I think it should be bellers.
Also, how can you post a picture of a SECTION of the crowd, in ONE STAND of the ENTIRE stadium, that has ONE MAN making what could be a racist (or just stupid) gesture toward Evra (presumably). Do you clutch straws professionally or are you an enthusiast from home?
Agreed. No place for that idiocy. Boo Evra for being a Hypocrite if you must but theres no excuse for those sort of gestures. Downing can't cross and it is ****ing shocking.
