    Right who was it then?

I was in club republic in Leicester last night, and found someone had scribbled my name Prehistoric Bob across the wall in black marker pen. As this is the only place I use this name I find it too hard to be pure coincidence. It has to be someone on ere!

Own up then, and I may buy you a pint <laugh>

I probably would have been convinced if wrote it and forgot about it when I was wasted were it not for the fact my name was still midlands_tiger last time I was in there, and whoever did it subtly wrote "is a ****er" underneath <laugh>

I live soooooooooooo close to Crawley!

You just have to take it on the chin. it sounds like Crawley deserved to win today. Well done the Red Devils.

I'll wear my City tie to work on Monday.

edit: just had my first text from my Crawley mates.....

I agree with most of what you say. The real truth of being a genuine football supporter (hopefully of your home town club - although I'll forgive those fans who have famly links hat orientate their allegiance) is that other clubs are actually irrelevant. The club we support is THE club - because it s OUR club - and success is both relative and transient - I respect all genuine fans - I have less sympathy for those fans from distant geograhic climes who start ripping up their season tickets because the club they have followed is no longer the country's 'top dog' - for me it was no coincidence that the vast majority of 'outraged' Liverpool 'fans' threatening to do this during the short Hodgson reign (also at the end of Benitez) rarely had a scouse accent amongst them ...

Applaud you candor and your grip on reality - many years ago I went under the knife to sort my football related knee injury out and having come around the next day asked the nurse to get me a paper as I was eager to find out the result of our FA Cup replay at Harlow Town. When she brought it I turned to the sports pages and discovered that we had lost 1-0 to an own goal scored by a guy (Tommy Wlliams) who I had idolised t school (our schol had got to the semi-finals of the English Schools Trophy - I was just 11 at the time and Tommy was in the 6th form) - I honestly thoughht I must still be dreaming under anaesthetic - was a student at the time and had to go back to Uni and face the ridicule of all my mates - particularly the ones in theUni footie team like me -but two tears later we reached the sem-final where we lost to Spurs - so just roll with it - there's always next year.

It's hard to take a team seriously when the fans chant sounds more like an insult "we are crawley"

and people wearing a scarf they've been given as part of the trip costs should be shot for singing "Crawley till I die" or maybe they're not on about the place?

Anyway, can't argue the outcome of the came. BARMBY ARMY

Leicester posters, watch how the Tigers fans react to this in a grown-up way.

    Take note!

Form is temporary, class is permanent!

Maybe, amusing for some. Good win for you. Who do you want to face in the 5th round?

I don't mean amusing that you lost to a former non-league club. I mean the reaction from some of the Hull fans. Although at the minute they're more conspicuous by their absence.

I don't want us to dodge all of the big boys in round 5, we'll take it to anyone. So I'm hoping for the mighty Crawley.

The fact that we lost to Crawley is embarrassing in a way, but given the way it happened it really wasn't surprising. Since new years day 2011 (against Leicester) we've found it incredibly difficult to cope with any team that put men behind the ball and we have no answer to it. It's been over a year since then and we still have the same problem.
