As a Liverpool fan, i obviously think that its very inaccurate and misleading, but nonetheless not a bad windup
It isn't that funny. it;s already been done on here to death. hope you laugh as much when you you lose
Agreed. It says a lot about the quality and ability of Agger and Lucas though and how highly Kenny rates them. We played 4-4-2 with Adam and Lucas in the middle until Lucas was injured then we reverted to 3 in midfield to compensate for his loss. Then Agger was out against Stoke and we put 3 at the back to compensate for his loss.
At the time he was a good player to buy, his ability to create chances for himself (as he showed against Liverpool and various other clubs) was very good, and he was scoring quite a few goals. The question is, why were you prepared to pay so much for him, when you could of got already accomplished players for cheaper.
Only explanation is that we didn't have time to get a player in from overseas and were after a last minute striker. The £50m from Torres played a big part in Newcastle's valuation and our willingness to spend that much. I guess when you look at it like £15m for Torres and a £10m striker brought in doesn't look to bad judging on his form at Chelsea...but it is not as simple as that. However saying all of that, I know Carroll has a very good left foot, but will he make good use for it in a Liverpool shirt? I don't know.
Who would want Andy Carroll? I would tell him to **** off, I bet most premier league teams would too. Championship? Abroad?
look guys carroll was an error. the reasons are simple. 1. club and new owners had to win the fans. 2. torres decided 3 days before window close he was off... we had no replacement. 3. we were turned down by llorente and someone else too. 4. having gotten 50mil if they didn't spend there would have been fan trouble with SoS 5. suarez was cup tied in europa now buying carroll for anyhting like that oney was crazy in my opinion at the time as therew as simply no value in it. thats got nowt to do with THIS THREAD or TODAY'S match... can we use this trhead for what its for please?
Paid £10 million more than market value, Chelsea's money anyway. Carroll is young and will become more aggresive and consistent with age. We will see the best of him next year.
What, do you never want Andy Carroll to score apart from this game? Think about it, this game is the final assessment of Andy Carroll. There will be more people watching the game today than they have watched any other game regarding Andy Carroll before. If Andy Carroll scores, and plays well, then that will go a long way to an improvement. If he plays ****, I think he will be **** for the rest of the year at least. This is why Carroll is completely relevant to the game ffs. Do you want to talk about Evra like you seem to usually do when I go over to your board? I think this about Carroll because I watched the Bolton-Liverpool game and he was the worst player I have seen at the Reebok in a long time, and to think he is the most expensive English player is laughable.
See ya'll after the game - I've got beers to drink and spliffs to toke. Good luck everyone - Let's hope for a great game lads
Has it now? Why, do you think Andy Carroll could go into a premier league team and consistantly play well how he is playing now? You are misguided if you think this.
