You have to be a professional to have a trial? Surely owning a pair of boots and knowing the words to the Sash should suffice?
5 minutes spell near the end practicing the pleading eyes campaign, very useful after Harry's exercise or after inappropriate use of hands on referee who may be taking the shock decision of giving a Rangers player a red card. Some referees never learn.
Least izzie pal stayed around for 2 weeks before returning to Honduras, who is funding these trials ???
It may or may not be the club. Agent is hawking the player all round the place, it depends who is the most desperate, the club or the player. I wouldn't expect Rangers to be playing for players on trial as they don't pay the fee to release players from previous clubs.
Pretty sure the players themselves have to pay for their own travel & hotel costs. Sure there was a guy last year moaning how much time & money he'd wasted on a 2 week trial. Thing is they are useful tools as some of these guys haven't played first team games so hard to judge what level they are at & hard to get scouts to go everywhere - problem you have is that you have bad press like Rangers have here over a good few trialists and any decent players they may be able to get may turn them down for a trial because of what has happened here.
