Surely you mean if Utd win it'll prove our second string is better than your team, and if we lose it'll prove how bad our injury crisis is You're playing a friendly in the baseball stadium? Hasn't it only got stands along two sides?
Its got 4 sides, but the two that aren't on the side where the batsman is are much smaller. please log in to view this image This is how it will work I presume, this was for when Celtic played there in the summer of 2010.
That's it get you excuses in early, as usual. Don't forget we are without Lucas and Suarez, two very important players. At the end of the day United have peaked. The younger players coming through are not of the quality of the players who are becoming more injury prone due to age. Can United sanction a £100 million spending spree to replace players such as Scholes, Giggs, Ferdinand, Evra, Vidic etc. Highly unlikely as it appears your owners are more intrested in £££ than football. Liverpool are a work in progress, United a team in decline, regardless of today's result.
Looks like they've had to put it diagonally cos the lines are only about 100 yards long. There will be some interesting views from some seats in the ground! Lol, knew you'd rise to that one Besides which, as so many Liverpool fans have pointed out, your owners haven't spent any money they have only reinvested money they made from selling players and cutting costs. So shouldn't you be more worried? You've traded one set of zero net spend owners for another
BREAKING NEWS: Andy Carroll has revealed that he's been wearing a t-shirt under under his Liverpool kit and will reveal it when he score's. ....It says "Save the Chilean Miners"
They have shown shrewd business acumen, so why would I worry about that. They are clearly very shrewd businessman with a track record of success. Liverpool have been a sleeping giant for too long, and this is beginning to change, it won't happen over night, but we will be back, make no mistake about that. Fancy a Liverpool win today, but who knows, will have to overcome United's anti-football and intimadation of the ref. Expect constant crowding of the referee and plenty of diving and feigned injury. United are a disgrace, people from all over the world will watch this, United hardly a great advert for English football.
I couldn't agree more, I thought it was disgraceful when Utd were fined £20,000 for failing to control their players after they surrounded the referee and intimidated him during the Fulham match. Oh wait....
Well, you are refering to a one off event, with United it is constant. How Fergie was ever Knighted god only knows. Surely a result of lots of secret handshakes and brown envelopes stuffed with cash. Fergie has not got an ounce of class, unlike the King. King > Sir.
Realistically, this game is of more importance to United. This season represents there best chance of winning any silverware for some time. Liverpool and City will strenghen in the summer and go on to dominate the game, both domestically and on the continent. I think if Fergie does not win a cup this year he may decide to pursue his love of horses and wine. Can United find an adequate replacement? That remains to be seen...................
