How have you got this impression? I don't think i've posted particularly wussy (for want of a better word) stuff on here all the time

 

You've mainly posted indie and electronica-esque stuff, doesn't really give off that impression does it.

Been listening to these A LOT today, along with Exploited.

 

Vibert hasn't done anything since YosepH or the Lovers Acid EP that has really grabbed me to be honest. Anything newer of his that you like?

Ukraine (kind of) - Gogol Bordello - Gypsy Punk, just madness.
UK - Acoustic Ladyland - jazz/punk

Not EU but Australia - Mammal - Sort of like Rage Against The Machine but Australian.

Not that i imagine you really like punk but that's my ****e input

 

Good pick . Do you have Living With a Tiger? Pretty weird album that does essentially nothing of value until the last 3 tracks which are amazing.

 

Haven't really bothered since YosepH, tried listening to Chicago, Detroit, Redruth but just couldn't get into it. Gave up with post-YosepH stuff myself.

 

I'd guess most of the music I'd have from other countries is pretty well known. Ah well..

Big Soup was brilliant!

 

Belgium - Ghinzu (rock lite) they did the track used for the end credits on Taken "The Dragster Wave". Also Deus who are rock/pop.
Denmark - Mew, I posted something by them a while back. Alternative indie.
Norway - Madrugada. Alternative. Posted a few already.
Sweden - The Soundtrack of Our Lives (TSOOL). Rock. Posted them already as well.
Germany - Einsturzende Neubaten Alternative/Experimental. Blumfeld - Guitar pop.
Ukraine (sort of) - The Ukrainians. Wedding Present spin off. One of the members was from there and did a sort of folk side project.

 

Seem pretty obscure from what I've searched online, what sort of stuff is it?

 

Yeah that's all i have by them. It's an exceptionally weird album, i haven't listened to it in ages i just thought it might be something you're into. The first few songs aren't great though from what i remember. I'll give it another listen now!

Pretty sure I remember liking Madrugada, will look into them now.

Yeah, I only got the album because of Seb Rochford. It's a decent idea but I just don't think it's pulled off so well until the last three tracks as I say. Especially 'Worry' which is damn cool.
