Certainly from the Watford commentary the two full backs are being left very exposed.

Just read the stats - what are we playing at? I saw Sean Murray play the other week for the under 18s up here in Newcastle and he looked very comfortable on the ball - probably the best player on the pitch and Newcastle had some gooduns.

Think so. Kept out as a precaution more than anything though.

That really was poor from Loach. First shot on target.

This post is directed to all the idiots who dissed Spurs before the game, NOT decent Watford fans of whom there are many.

    <laugh>

Who did the biggest cheating, prima donna dive?

    Watford

    Is the game boring? No.

    Are Spurs in town? Yes.

    Are we winning? Yes.

Suck on that you anti-football loving, deluded Watford philistines.

Well done to the Spurs fans, as I said weeks ago, we'll sell all our tickets and more. Love it that there are Spurs fans in the flats overlooking Watford's game, how brilliant was that. COYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One real chance that Spurs had and they took it.

Watford did really well to frustrate them for the whole half. Spurs have had plenty of the ball but not in danger areas. It is only on the break that Spurs have looked really dangerous.

"we play beautiful football, entertaining, swaggering, skilful football."

So do Man Utd., Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City, Nottingham Forest, Derby County, Everton, even Aston Villa & they've all won the League or Premiership at some point since Spurs did it.

If you "play the best football in the country" why are you not top? Why have you never even finished second since 1961?

Even Watford did that in 83.......

Hardly vintage stuff from Spurs, but will take the 1 shot and 1 goal. Not great goalkeeping, lets hope we can lift it a bit in the 2nd half.

Well no-one would accuse you of playing swaggering skilful football, and we finished 2nd in 63 to further expose your ignorance. And most of the teams you mentioned have never played the consistent beautiful football over the past 50+ years that we have, so how silly is your inane comment - Very silly <ok>

Spurs, purveyors of the beautiful game for 60 years and more <ok>

Troy appears to be giving Rose a bit of a hard time - I really hope SD isn't tempted to bring on Big Chris to take advantage of that with his 'heading ability'.:(

Not a bad half for us - but can we keep up the pace? I doubt it personally.

Wonder if Muzza will get a chance to show off his long-range shooting ability.;)
