I have a question, is there only one team in this fixture tonight? Every article is about poor old 'Arry, now if memory serves it is actually a FA Cup tie between Watford against Spurs. It is not the 'Arry show, getting a bit pi$$ed off with the media. I personally don't give a flying F**k about 'Arry and his troubles it has got nothing to do with this match<grr>

One of the country's greatest football clubs eh - one that has not won the major competition that it has entered (i.e. Div. 1 and the Premiership) in over 50 years!!!

    Some greatness........

Now who's fans are guilty of not watching how other teams play?

For your sake, I hope Spurs don't evovle too much tonight. Not sure what it means, but it sure sounds nasty ;)

Arrogance personified. 'Evolution' indeed! It would appear that not many Spurs fans have evolved from the poseur attitude that their fathers (& mothers) took in the 80's.

I assume that if less than 2 passes from one half to the other result in the ball going into the opposition net, then the "goal" is disallowed because it wasn't 'football'?

And presumably we'll have to re-write Glenn Hoddle's career as someone who frequently 'kicked' the ball over 50 yards for someone to 'run' on to it.

I see nowhere in any FA or FIFA rules handbook that passes have to be a maximum of 10 yards, or that at least 8 players on your side must consecutively touch the ball before an attempt can be made on the opposition goal.

    Get over yourself....

Good point vic - I guess that makes us the more successful of the two in recent times. ;)

Hoddle was an exponent of the long ball game. If he hadn't been he may have played more for England,

My goodness me it is cold here tonight. It used to be great sharing the body heat of all those packed on to the Vic terrace, not quite the same as sitting in a plastic bucket. Still as I was told over dinner, fairly light one before the game, I am just a grumpy old man, who cannot see the benefit of playing games over the weekend instead of 3.00pm on a Saturday afternoon. ;)

Hey H, Be fair. If I were facing the possibility of time at Her Majesty's pleasure, I would want to go to the Vic before the door clanged shut.

So now we know you are a total WUM and irritant and I will love it, love it if we beat you tonight. My disdain for you is total.

What David Baddiel neglected to mention, which a quick Google search would have told him, is we call ourselves that was to render the levels of Anti Semitic abuse we received from Chelsea fans impotent. Chelsea fans, of which David Baddiel is one.

Google will also tell him that Rob Newman was the funny one...

Unfortunately some of the idiots on your board don't recognise what a wonderful footballing side we are, and don't appreciate we are one of the flagbearers for football in the centuries old traditions of the beautiful game.

For decent Watford posters I hope it's a good game and we win, for the jealous idiot tendency on here, I hope we win easily and take the piss. For them if we do I'll be back later and giving it large to the absolute numpties who can't stand Spurs because we play football the right wayu.

I knew West Ham had a lot of jealous, bitter individuals, I didn't realise how many Watford fans were of the same ilk. This thread has been very educational.

What do you mean 'if'? If you don't beat us tonight you ought to hang your heads in shame. One of your reserves earns more than out first team put together. Your players far outshine ours in terms of ability. But we will still support our team.
