What position's do y'all play though?

Keep it clean though lads, I have shin splints at the moment and its getting worse, I should really stop but I can't be bothered to go to the gym(even though its free considering I work as a lifeguard in a leisure centre)

I'm left footed so was forced to go onto the wing, which was quite annoying as I was a good striker, I was a small lad and fast, but then puberty hit and I shot up to 6ft 2, I play at the back now in 6-a-side, take it quite seriously, but I still get forward and grab my goals. 2 hat-tricks in the last 2 weeks.

Wein - I'm a left winger or striker but I've played a season CM in sunday league with limited success!

Badger - Shin splints is probs the worst pain I've ever experienced, get well soon! The only thing I've found that helps is painkilling cream and ibuprofen a half hour before playing, still hurts the next day but you can get through the games.

It really is the worst pain I have ever had. It gets about 30 minutes in my 5-a-side on a Thursday and I am in agony, probably cos we have this one lad who goes for the nutmeg every time and fails, ball whacks my shins and I then feel like crying. Drugs it is beforehand.

Centre Back, Centre Mid or Striker.
Mostly used upfront as the big man in Shearer Bellamy type partnerships

I tend to play Defence / Midfield, tried pushing forward into striking positions but I'm a ****e shot :D

Could probably arrange a match with the lads at work as we just play amongst ourselves (No leagues) but would prefer playing together and get to know each others style of play before doing anything like that.

I found that my football career as a top striker was curtailed when I was moved into midfield... then defence. I played a few games as a keeper but made so many clangers that it was deemed more important to put me back into defence and stick a fat kid called Ronald between the posts.

    606 v not606?

I played keeper but now play in a Michael Owen-esque position, at home on the sofa complaining about a dodgy ankle. <ok>
