And say what you will about the meth trade, it's a growth industry; he probably won't struggle to pay the bills so long as he stays clear of the law.

Few rumours flying around that more crap about Cala will be in the news tomorrow.
One is ment to be Cala is not even his name. Another is he a underworld boss that got his wife killed off for giving evidence against him. Some others are that the money he does have is from dodgy investment schemes and mafia cash.

I suppose nothing would surprise me when it comes to Pompey and all the various connections, but that all sounds too fanciful to me.

Sicily, America? Must be Mafia. <doh>

Not that Cala fills me with joy and confidence, mind.

No, we've still got a South American dictator/general/drug baron to go - someone like Noriega. Then there's Mugabe - I've heard he has a bob or two stashed away!

Hopefully they get a property developer with a keen plan to build flats on the fratton site. I'm sure Gosport will agree to groundshare.

Don't you just love Gallows Humour.

Give credit to these Pompey boys laughing in the face of adversity.

I see no problem with a mafia don heading the club,we would never lose (I will make you an offer you cannot refuse) and Adkins would end up with a horses head in his bed. But seriously this guy is as close to the mafia as H & W from the premiers league (no offence they are my second team)
