Was just reading this article: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16744712.stm Which in itself is quite shocking.......What also shocked me aside from what happenned to Nathan Blake is that this BBC journalist claims that Tom Adeyemi was racially abused by a section of the Liverpool crowd!!!! Is it fair to call one racist fan a section? Does anyone know how this dire journalism can be reported
The BBC have broken their rule of having to stay neutral a lot lately. I'm surprised they haven't been picked up on it yet. I thought they were particularly un-neutral at times with the Suarez and Evra case, and they have also put a few misleading headlines and titles up recently as well in the sports section, for example, the article linking us with that Rangers striker.
They have had an ear bashing over it. i phoned earlier and gave them a lecture on the importance of objective and accurate journalism. I suggested that with modern communication tools they are writing history and have a duty to ALL to write accurately.
A few months ago the boss of the BBC and the head of BBC Sport had a meeting(at the license payers expense)with the manager of Manchester United in which they kissed arse in an effort to get him to give TV interviews on MOTD. Thats how far they've sunk since the days of quality investigative journalism coming before reputation.

Woy was the press brigade's blue eyed boy and Kenny was wrongly portrayed as the villain of the piece as to why Mr Hodgson got his P45,and since the Suarez/Evra case LFC have been public enemy number one and an easy target for the hacks as in your example. Its quite inaccurate really. Woy dished up turgid slops from his first match in charge to the last. Kenny provided hot sustenance, with flavour and palatability. Journos have notoriously short memories - yesterday's headlines are tomorrows chip wrappers, so it was ever said. Thus the moronic comparison. I do wonder who wrote the piece, as no-one had the temerity to own up and put their name to it. All I used the complaints section to lodge a complaint about Craig Burley recently...I got a cut and paste mail back saying thanks but tough tits...another on the Chelsea board got exactly the same from the same time and the same complaint. Do it and let them know your unhappy, but don't get your hopes up

I only really take my sports news off not606 and the BBC, and I only found out two minutes ago that Jason Roberts had joined Reading, and I've seen the first article of Tim Ream joining Bolton. Without extensive looking at the website, you would miss a lot of info.
